Is Rhino Prime Really Worth The Time And Effort?

So far the normal rhino was my favourite warframe in the whole game and now that rhino prime is out I'm so eager to get it. So far I got every single part besides the chasis, and it's getting super difficult for me to get it (did around 4 one hour rounds of t3 survival and nothing). Now I'm willing to sell whatever I can in the market to get that chasis, although even at the end if I get the chasis will it really be worth it? Will it be worth all the platinum, time and mods for this warframe or it's just not worth trying? Thanks :)

If you're going to replace voidkeyface with Vanguard and use rush, definitely. Otherwise, it's just a dash polarity and death orb interaction. I built it just because I love the gold trim and playing rhino. I personally use a duration build to 'teleport' with charge, but Loki speed is quite amazing too.

Yes if you're using vanguard helmet, not really different otherwise

Okay. So besides it being a golden version of one of the arguably best frames out there, and the fact it comes with an extra polarity, Rhino Prime also has an increased speed stat. It's created a ton of arguments from the community saying he's way too OP now, and that he's just as fast as Loki now, which is apparently unfair. Granted, he has next to no weaknesses now, and could probably use a little balance.

I say leave it if he has speed increase the primes need something like that since it takes sometimes forever to far if you don't purchase one. And its not game breaking, its not like we playing a moba or something,lol

I have the guy, and he's definitely faster, though I haven't done actual comparisons myself.  Certain there's something about it on the wiki though.

 

Edit:  According to the wiki, Rhino's speed is 0.9 and Rhino Prime's is 1.0.  With the Vangaurd Helm's speed boost of 25%, that gives Rhino Prime 1.25 speed.  That is, in fact, equal to Loki's base speed of 1.25.  This means that Rhino Prime (with Vangaurd helm) is the same speed as Loki.

Because that is the only way to play him.  

 

He is fast and HE is tough enough to take a few heavy hit at high levels and immune to CC. What is there not to like ?!

 

 

Yes I am calling for a slight toning down of his sprint speed (1.0 to 0.95.... which puts him 0.02 slower than Nova. While wearing Vanguard and Nova is the 2nd fastest frame), but till then, just abuse the heck out of him.

Is he worth my time?  No he wasn't

Is he worth the effort?  No.

 

He is only worth the time if you like Gold Mode Rhino.  He is only worth the effort if you don't want to spend a day waiting on your forma.  And then playing maybe 2-3 hours to reach 30 with the said Forma in play.

 

But wait.....it usually takes people days...weeks and even months to farm......and by then you could of took your regular Rhino and had about 3-4 forma already on him.....so.........when are Prime Warframes going to get buffs :3

On topic it's up to the person wanting him. Is he worth the effort to YOU. Is he worth the time, resources and bad rng to YOU.

If he is I don't see why you wouldn't get him as he'd at least provide some more mastery points.

I would consider him worth all the blood, sweat, & tears; He not only runs faster, he's a little bit stronger in power strength. Then again I had amazing luck with getting him and all under 12hrs.

If you like Rhino and would like having a faster, shinier version of it, or like collecting frames, sure. It's luck of the draw as far as farming it goes, but that shouldn't stop you if you want him.

For me it's just the style. And atm I see lots of parts on the market for around 95 plat for the rare parts, 140 plat for helmet and BP combined....I will wait for some time, until most people have him...then the prices will go down and I will buy 'em.

 

I'm pretty patient regarding this, since it's a warframe I don't really need. If it would be Saryn Prime, it would be the other way round. I'd probably buy Prime Access for her XD

If I were you I would rather go for Boltor Prime and wait for farming Rhino Prime when you feel like doing it :v

Well, I was actually crafting my Rhino when the Tethra's Doom event was released like less than a day later and what do you know? Rhino Prime. Of course my first reaction was excitement since I was wondering how he would look like. And thus I spent hours and hours during the event period farming his parts. I managed to complete him at around day 4 of the event and started crafting him. I only got him like yesterday? And I'm totally in love with him. He's bigger, bulkier and all-around badass. Give him the Thrak helmet and he looks bloody menacing! That and he looks awesome with my color choice.

He looks pretty, kind of. If you don't think so, then just at least get him for Mastery and move on from it. If you enjoy playing as a Rhino, then why not just get him?

Well, I already fall in love with Rhino since I start playing Warframe since U7. So if he get Prime, why wouldn't I grab him? :v

Besides, Prime hype isn't something new there. It happened before when previous prime frame were introduced, except that we can trade prime items this time.
