Login Reward Bug That Leaked A Possible Future Mod [Resolved - Old Bug/mod]

How it happened:

- Logged in, accepted reward (10k credits)

- Reward window would not go away, and could not interact with anything else apart from the log out button

   >Clicking the accept reward button did not give multiple rewards

- Logged out, was shown normal log in screen with a very bugged inbox window

- Inbox window showed a mod that is unobtainable, nor listed in the Wiki

 

Should I post the picture? I feel as if it's leaked information that the devs might not want leaked.

The devs need to see what happened so that they can fix the problem. Pics or GTF- I mean didn't happen.

EDIT:  That mod has been making appearances, I think it's a really old one that keeps popping back in somehow.

Not that I know of. I couldn't do anything with the window, no buttons worked. I'll log in and check.

Classic bug. Any time an invalid mod is referenced, it shows that. Think of it as the Missingno of Warframe.

thats just an old bug that has been around for some time.

it pops up again from time to time... though i have never seen it there before as its usually a def reward.

Ah, okay. Did it show it previously as a passive focus mod like in the picture? Only heard that a "focus" system was going to be implemented on one of the Devstreams recently.

It seems like a normal mod, but has it ever appeared as a Focus mod before?

The devs have been talking about Focus for some time, after all.

Disappointment abounds.

 

EDIT: To keep the UI from breaking, any time the data is lost or missing, placeholder data gets fed in. If the game needs to show a mod, and has no mod data, that's what you're shown instead.
