Player Activated Environment "traps"

Had this idea for a long time, but with release of illogical in every way "broken lights" decided to post this.

 

Lots of "explosive barrels" on every level is kinda stupid and overused cliche for games. Why not use something that logicaly fits environment. Like broken lights... not that strange and hated AI controlled electro-turrets, but really something broken in good way. You/enemy shoot off some console, and it crashes with electro+magnetic explosion. Random unprotected coolant tubes on walls. Would fit Corpus maps.

 

For Grineer asteroid and Phobos maps weak points in walls and ceiling that fall off with rocks when you damage it - impact damage with stun. For ship tileset wall-consoles with radioactive stuff.

 

For Infested maps few tipes of unstable biomass that on hit spit: toxin, gas, or sticky goo. Some spicies can be immute to infested disease and be pest/sponger for infested themselves, so. Destroyable wall/ceiling nest of "crab" things, that try to bite (slash damage) everythign that touches them, and randomly bites around when non lethally kicked/shot. Enemy will kill those crabs when they act hostile (after they bite)... like grineer/crewman would shake off and foot-smash them like cockroaches, charger would grab jaw it and throw away.
