Difficulty Exiting The Game

why no esc key bind?
oversight?

or does someone misguidedly believe that making it more difficult to exit the game will keep people playing.

this isnt how it goes down

when i want to exit the game i spam esc to no effect and then, instead of giving up and going back to playing, I begrudgingly click through the 2 layers of esc buttons it takes to leave (swearing silent vengeance on whoever designed the lack of feature).

i spose i could try alt f4

You exit the game? Warframe should be on all the time. They don't want you to leave. There is only Warframe! :P

I usually use alt-f4.  Quick and painless.

Esc works for me, or  i just  right  click and close if i play in windowed mode.

 

Or good old esc + alt + f4, also task menager ftw.

It's strange that option is no longer there as it was there a few updates ago, guess they might have removed it at the same time as they made the PS4 version as it's normal for console games to not have a quit game option.

I remember seeing an Option to quit the game from the pause menu while I was soloing on PC, I clicked it by accident and it just closed the game.
