What Is The Highest Rank For Heavy Caliber I Could Get Away With On The Soma?

I currently have it at 75% Damage with a 25% loss to Accuracy. I can't notice any difference in accuracy loss, so my question is, how much is too much for this Mod to work well with my Soma?

I got mine to 135% damage, no regrets.

I have two heavy cals. One for the synapse is maxed, the other is a r6 for the soma, and that works nicely for me.

WOW, wouldn't that hurt accuracy big time? I also use the same card on my Latron Prime and Paris Prime and obviously my beloved Penta. I also stack it with an almost maxed Serration.

Getting it to maxed wont give it much of a accuracy drop, the numbers may look big but it doesnt affect the soma that much u will most likely miss one of two shots to the head around 20-30 meters

I maxed mine, no big deal. So long as you have multishot and you move about 5m closer than normal you should be fine.

Dont use it.

 

Even +105% damage is only around +40% damage overall, barely better than Bane or an Element.

 

If you max it out, the accuracy drop is enough that you can barely make headshots at midrange, and no chance at all at long range.

 

Soma has a 3.9x average multiplier on headshots, if the acc loss makes you stop aiming for or achieving headshots HCal is not worth it.
