Mods: Transmutation And Fusion

Hello, fellow Tenno,

 

I really enjoy Warframe, but I don't find how mods are set up to be very player freindly. Could someone please explain how mods, transmutation, and fusion work? Thankyou

Transmutation is useless. Fusion is how you rank up mods and make them stronger. Try wikia. There's a long explanation there

Thankyou for the replies, I found them very informative. I figured out (through trial and error) a bit how fusion works, but I still hadn't figured out what was up with transfusion. I've been fusing health mods to try to get a higher percentage bonus, but it stays at 40%. Is there another type of card I should add into the mix or am I stuck at 40%?

transmutation doesn't take lesser mods to make a stronger mod; it takes 4 mods and the end result is a random mod. you can rarely get some awesome mods, but it's best to save your credits until you have more than what you know what to do with them.
