at35z
Hi everyone, This game is the only reason why I keep using Windows. Nowadays I just hate it, and want to switch to Ubuntu. (Yes, a Linux one, please, accept.) Since Steam and a couple of Steam games are available on it, and I can find alternate (or even better) variants for my current softwares, I would like to switch. Any hope for a LInux version of the game? (I know about the Wine. I know it's possible, but I personally haven't managed to play that way, so it would be just better having a native Linux version.) at35z
I see on the second link, that it has last time got a "Bronze" rating. What could this mean?
xethier
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=14857 here's the main page that shows current versions and their issues. from what i see here, there isn't a version that is currently functional. that doesn't mean you can't get it working with effort. (probably quite a bit) but it doesn't look good. I'd hope that DE would eventually work with valve to get a functional build up and running via steam. But until SteamOS and steamboxen become functional i doubt there is much pressure to do so.
