Welcome to the Crucible!

 

-The Tenno, the Corpus and any Independent persons  get a Transmission, on it appears a Grineer who looks a bit like Sargus Ruk expect without the heavy shoulder pad or Halo and a mask that covers his entire face-

 

"People of the Galaxy! I am Commander Vega Krell! One of her Majesties Elite Guard. I come baring an Invitation to you all who are brave and willing to attempt their hand at the Grineer's latest attraction! THE CRUCIBLE!" The Grineer shouts, pointing to the screen "I challenge you all to come and attempt your hand to become one of the Galaxy's best warriors!" And the Grineer places his hand upon his chest "I promise upon my honour and of the Queens there will be no traps, no tricks or any other fatal tricks for you all, especially to the Tenno" Krell leans forward and stares at them "And I promise you all, you will not regret it" 

 

The Crucible is a Grineer Fomorian Class Starship which has been renovated and Converted into a Duelling and Challenge Arena for all Factions to test their strength and Endurance against the challenges of the Crucible. Built by Councillor Vay Hek, Gutted by Commander Vega Krell of her Royal Highness's elite guard, Vega Krell has offered all factions, Grineer, CORPUS, Tenno or Independent to come along and test their skills in the Crucible!

However, As Vega Krell has some understanding for those who would not want to face the challenge of the arena, there is a viewing platform for patrons who want to view the carnage with waiters and waitresses offering prizes to award the brave souls in the arena, these prizes include energy orbs, Health packs, Ammunition, any outside interference will not be tolerated.

 

There are also recreational areas such as a bar and Restaurant for those who wish to tell tales of adventure and fame as well as a gambling den for those wishing to pit their luck on the Arena's fighters. The Sargent has also provided a Training room for anyone interested in practising their skills before venturing into the Arena. 

As this is arena of Violence and Honour Krell has taken upon himself to put up a few rules.

1) No Fighting in the viewing platforms or in the Training rooms.

2) No Dirty tricks.

3) No flirting with the Grineer woman.

4) The Crucible Arena is a place of violence and Honour. If it is your first time in the Arena you must fight either alone or with others, it doesn't matter so long as you entertain the Sarge and the audiance

5) To ensure there is no accidental or deliberate deaths, The Architect has created a Weapon Suppressant field which limits the weapons lethality while still retaining it's damage. Do not tamper or challenge this equipment or any technology abard the crucible. Failure to follow this rule will result in arrest for sabotage or premature extermination. (AKA shot on sight)

6) The Crucible Staff can be identified by their Red, black and Gold Uniforms with a Shield and Machete holo-logo on it. Should you have any Queries, Suggestions on how to improve the Crucible or Request Directions, please report to them.

- Each round is considered a round of survival against various enemies from around the Galaxy, from the Desert Skates to the most Dangerous Mercenaries. Please the Crowd and Receive their favour in the form of health, energy or ammunition.

- you will be given a break every 3 rounds and a chance to back down with a random reward. the higher the round the more valuable the prize. 

- The Crucible is currently looking for a Arena Champion to represent the power of the Arena. Prove your worth by surviving all 9 rounds in the Crucible Arena

- Should you break any of these rules (excluding the sabotage rule) you will be thrown out voluntarily or with force. No excuses, no defence, No strikes. you will be thrown out. Literally if it raises to that level.

After spending time in the Hounds and Rats making new friends and allies, the two sisters; Lia and Katya found out about the crucible. "Sounds like a fun place to be." said Katya. "I know, it's a good place to practice and test our skills. I know I'd like to see what you can do after you were changed." said Lia, stepping onboard. "I wonder what kind of opponents we can find here."

Coming aboard the Grineer ship were two more people with the intent to participate. One appeared to be a Grineer Heavy Gunner who oddly enough, was carrying a Vulkar and a few standard issue fragmentation grenades in addition to the usual Gorgon. Both the gunner and her equipment were in bright green and white, hinting that she had been given access to an Life Steal Leader upgrade.

 

The other appeared to be a Corpus Tech and by the colours and pattern of his jumpsuit, he appeared to have been given access to the Ice Leader upgrade. That and he seemed to be carrying something in a relatively large, rectangular metal container strapped to his back which caused him to walk leaning slightly forward to maintain his balance.

 

Each of them had their own reasons for entering. The Tech was there to get an idea what the Corpus might be up against, expecting the other competitors to give their all in the name for things like fame and the various rewards offered to those who did well. As for the Grineer female, she was there in hopes of gaining fame and glory by doing well and just maybe get a promotion out of it if she impressed the other Grineer.

Lia read the rules of combat in the arena. "Hmm, maximum team of 4. Same as your average 4 man cell." said Lia. "Team members can be of mixed factions. You will be fighting multiple types of foes. Precautions against vacuum combat, low gravity and infested nano spores must be taken." "How... interesting." said Katya.

The Corpus Tech walked up to read the rules, stopping a foot away to the right of the two Tenno. The Tech put his right hand to his helmet as though deep in thought like when someone put their hand to their chin. To take some of the load off of himself, he removed the large, rectangular container which had been on his back and set it down next to himself. With the weight off his back, he straightened it for the first time since entering. Through the visor of his helmet, he glanced at the two female Tenno, finding their Warframes to be rather interesting and particularly the one that seemed to be made from bits and pieces of varying suits.

 

Coming along next was the Heavy Gunner who stopped to the left of the two Tenno as she went to read the rules as well. She didn't say anything around the Tenno or that one Corpus Tech. Not that she thought she even had anything to say to them at all. Insults were pointless and being friendly to them was somewhat out of the question. Once they were outside the ship, it would be back to trying to kill each other as usual.

Noticing that the Tech and the Gunner were both nearby, the two sisters looked at their various equipment. Lia thought it'd be a good idea to get a feel of the possibility of working with both Corpus and Grineer at once. "Hello there, my name's Lia. This is my sister, Katya. What are your names?" she asked the two.

The Tech looked to the two Tenno, turning to face them. Might as well get to know them a little. I might have to fight in a team alongside them. "My name is Harad. Pleasure to meet you two." The 'pleasure' part was more from getting to observe them closer up without being shot at or otherwise attacked. If only he could get a scan or two of their frames. The board would pay him royalties for technical information such as that and he could incorporate some of that technology into his own arsenal once the engineers got it figured out.

It was a standard issue one sold by the Corpus and was used by most Grineer officers who had to converse with the Corpus to respond to business propositions. She had bought one for herself in preparation of competing since she would without a doubt come across Tenno and Corpus. To her, the Tenno were simply mercenaries fighting to get their hands on weaponry and modifications while the Corpus were greedy merchants. Once the translator beeped to signal that it was active and ready for use, she spoke. "My name is Anastasia."
