Hello everyone!

I started playing Warframe since the beginning of closed beta test and of saw the full path of how does the game changed. I would like to suggest a number of changes that will make the game much:

  • diverse
  • more balanced
  • prettier

 

Solution of problems, which in the opinion of the players really is a problem :

  1. 1) Stamina bar doesn’t make any difference. Its useless. For a quick movement through location everyone is using Slide’n’run trick. Stamina recovers, you don’t slow down and only get faster.
  1. Solution - sliding doesnt cost stamina only then you sliding down
  2. 2) Mods are increasing damage of even most useless weapons to astronomical numbers. It’s creating a large gap between the levels .
  3. Solution – increase base damage of default weapons and decrease effectiveness of weapon’ mods.
  4. 3) In connection with the first issue, no one is using mods which increasing the recovery rate of stamina or reduce its cost for running on walls, etc.
    4) Players are not even trying to block. You can forget about this button, because enemies are easily die from constant firing, there is no sense to block their shots.
  5. 5) Ever since the first beta version of game players complained that running along the walls , dodge and somersault do not help in the battle.

  7. Problems 3-5 can be combined together in a single solution:
  8. During the wall run, somersault and sprint will warframe automatically block (or avoid) enemy attacks. For the balance, of course, need to increase the flow of stamina while running.

  10. 6) Add animations of using abilities while player is running, sliding or wall running.

 

PvP Problems:

  1. 1) Aura’s and most of mods doesn’t work.
  2. 2) Mods are too powerful (Problem #2)
  3. 3) Players move too fast. Gun with flying projectiles useless.

 

Simple sentences:

  1. 1) Add the possibility to apply finishing moves in the back even if the opponent is in readiness.
  2. 2) Holster and scabbard for weapons. No need to make great model, quite a few metal elements on which they will hold .

  3. 3) Ability to hide behind corners and obstacles as do NPC. Players always constantly run in and out behind the shelter.
  4. 4) If you get the idea of ​​creating new weapons, which features slightly different from the existing , make skins (as you did before with some weapons) Also , you can add decorative models (variation) of Warframes. Armor of warframe’s models will be slightly different in appearance with small changes of abilities.
  5. 5) Make hacking more difficult and interesting (maybe make 3 different "mini-games" of computer hacking for corpus, grineer and orokin)

 

More complex sentences:

  1. 1) Adding some decorative elements for weapons (I'm not talking about the color ). Such as different sniper rifle scopes or laser sights for other firearms, etc.

  2. 2) Not all players are raving about Sentinels. Warframe now is not just the super-soldier suit , now it's suit with a small flying friend. All because he gives a great advantage in battle and now play without him simply irrational. Please create an alternative to sentinels, not everyone likes to play with a flying pet.
  3. 3) A unique weapon for individual warframes. Heavy weapons available only for rhino, flamethrowers or rifle shooting red-hot needles only ember, etc.
  4. 4) Create a real need to cooperate (not just extra hands for killing enemies).  A number of unique passive abilities for each warframe that will give players purpose to create a balanced team. (Now each group is 1 RHINO and 3 NOVA’s or 4 RHINO’s)

For example :

  • LOKI opportunity for easier and faster computer hacking
  • RHINO can spent more time for hacking, but will be much easier to BREAK the door.
  • NECROS ability to resurrect dead (not fainted, which one you still can revive) ally once.
  1. 5) GIVE NPC’S SOME BRAIN. Enemies are moving chaotically and do not lead any combat. Often, soldiers are hiding behind corner and leading fire just running out for some stupid reason and die. Reducing the distance between player and enemy they sometimes start running around in circles. In general, just give them brains (tones of HP will not save them if they are running around in the open field)

 

P.S.:

  1. 1) Do not deviate from the game design and its ideas. Its nano-game, not an Might’n’Magic adventure. In the first versions of the game had logical and unique style. After the introduction of "Necromancer-frame" I thought that magic in the world of high-tech end, but then the "Mighty Paladin" shows up. Please, less magic in the world of futuristic impregnated cybernetics.
  2. 2) After introducing new items to the game, be prepared for the fact that each player will have it. Almost all warframes now run in cloaks, everyone’s have sentinels , everyone wants to get a bazooka that with oneshot 10-20 or even more enemies. And now that the game is presented to us:

"Even if the majority of players want to be given the tank - it does not mean that you need to add it." Game - it is a trial, not a comedy.

 

Final question:

The idea of ​​replacing the leveling through "tree abilities" to card mods was original and good. But what you'll do when the number of mods will be much more, and finding the right mod will take a huge amount of time?

Firstly, cover has been discussed, and the answer is no. We move to avoid fire, not hide behind a wall like a coward.

Secondly, they have said that they won't be doing skins which change models, so that idea goes.

Thirdly, restricting weapons to a particular frame? Hell no. Forcing people to use something like ember for ignis is bad, full stop.

And not everyone wants to have to use rhino to use gorgon wraith,or the other heavy weapons. But that's what your suggesting.
