Broken Lights Still Needs Fixing. This Is Ridiculous.

This has happened at least 7 times already.

 

Hmm yeah it isn't good that it killed you right at the start, HOWEVER you need to post it in the bug forum & not the general one as there is a better chance it will be noticed & noted when it is in the right forum area.

 

Can't say I have ever noticed any broken lights in the start area of any missions but will be keeping an eye out in the future.

It's a Russian Roulette. Whenever you enter a Grineer Galleon, you either spawn normally or get insta-gibbed by several broken lights.

Honestly, they should either be removed entirely, or severely nerfed in all aspects (damage, range, spawn frequency).  It's a little ridiculous that the most dangerous thing in an entire ship filled to the brim with gun-toting armored soldiers is a bunch of broken lights.

Also, its funny how a "BROKEN LIGHT" is able to discharge a deadly lightning bolt.

That's a Trap. Not a Broken Light that somehow zaps a electric bolt when someone gets near.

Should be called a Electrical Trap or something, if they plan on really keeping this environmental hazard.

lol'd, that's so true. the grineer are an after thought now. number one priority is shooting down those goddam broken lights. and why the poop do they only hurt tenno? if it's broken it should zap the grineer too, seems like it's not broken at all

They definitely shouldn't be able to exist in the spawn room, and having them only able to do shield damage wouldn't be a bad idea either, but overall, simply being aware of them will 'usually' keep you from dieing to them. They also should only be able to hit you if they have line of sight, would go a long way to helping the issue.

 

Simply don't dash blindly through the stage, keep your eyes on the surrounding walls, and shoot them before they hit you.

Another possible "bandaid" idea:  have them go the way of the Corpus laser doors.  Remember how those would shred low level players back when it could damage health?  What if they just make it so broken lights only deal shield damage?

 

This is actually a good idea! Problem Solved.

But anyway, they should never spawn on the starting room.

seeing as i just got killed by at least 3 broken lights in the spawn room before the loading screen had even finished loading..... MAYBE make it so there aren't any in there? Not cool when your partners jump down from the ceiling but your screen just shows you a dead body
