Deathmark Stalker, Not Doing Their Assignments?

I was attacked by the corpus guy's dog and defeated it, then a couple days latter I receive an email about my cointinued interest in the project and a representative would be there to assist me. I played for a couple days and nothing. Then I've done a few assassination missions and received an email from the stalker. It's been about a week and no assassins or anything. Is there something new in the way you will be stalked in update 12, I've played different mission types alone and with people and still nothing.  Is this normal?

its a random chance when you get attacked it can happen in any mission

Salad V marked me on 1/24/14 and I have yet to see the harvester. The stalker has never mailed me (rude) and the guy visits me weekly (even more rude).

 

I'm pretty sure the email marks are bugged but if you do fulfill the requirements to get an email then you should be marked already. Finally, you are at the mercy of the RNG God to decide whether they spawn of not.

thanks for the replies. I thought that it might be a bug since it was taking so long. I;ve been running my rhino and Vaubaun and I know the moment I attempt to use my loki they will pop up and i'll be screwed.
