Do Tenno Switch Gender?

.... When they change warframes?

So what's people's understanding / explanation of when a Tenno switches between a male warframe (e.g Rhino) to a female Warframe (e.g Nyx), are they cross dressing or do they switch gender lol?!?!

I do think DE should work on the Tenno aspects of the game, fix continuity issues, give them some skills that unlock with mastery and also give us as a player a opportunity to connect with the Tenno rather than with the suit of armour he wears.

What happens in situations like mine where I own two of the same warframe? Do I have twin tenno piloting my Lokis?

For me the mastery thing its just a game mechanic, and i think of my warframes as individuals, each one with their own gender and even personalities, and in whole like a cell inside a biggest organization (clan), like a commando unit of sorts, i even think that when the mastery test comes, you select the best tenno in your unit to represent your cell, and the result its the rank of the unit as a whole.

Before I get started, I just want to say that TENNO ARE NOT AI. When Tenno are hurt, they bleed. Only organic things bleed, not AI. Also, why would they need to be put in cryo-stasis if they are AI? Once again, only organic things need this. Now then...I have my own hypothesis. Dark Sector is the prequel to Warframe. In it, Hayden Tenno is infected with the technocyte virus, however, since he has a condition where he can't feel pain, he is able to control it. From it, he makes a suit looking exactly like excalibur. Also, Lephantis says that "we are your flesh". This heavily hints that Tenno are merely infected with the virus, but can control it to give them powers. Since infected can "change" how their body looks (just look at ancients), my hypothesis is that they change the shape of their body to fit the Warframe.
