Melee / Hysteria Lock-Up And Experience Mess-Up

So, I just did an almost 40 minute survival mission on Venus with Valkyr having just claimed the Ankyros Prime (which kind of grow on me even though I hated the normal ones) beforehand. So what happened that brought me to this section of the forums?! Well, near the end of the mission my melee attacks locked-up, which is a known bug that I thought has been fixed. This also lead to Hysteria still being activateable, but not actually doing anything, not even invulnerability. Then I reached the exit, mission ended only to find out that the game considered I had the Furax equipped?! Huh, what?! Those are rank 30. I thought I at least got the experience from using the Ankyros Prime during the mission, which was enough to get them to like rank 6 or so. But you know what? Went into my arsenal and noticed that all I had on the Ankyros Prime was a rank and a half-ish worth of experience. So what even happened here?!

Hysteria doesn't give XP to the melee weapon you have selected, because it counts as a melee weapon in its own right. :/

Hysteria counts for some reason, as being a level 30 Furax, replacing your normal melee weapon in terms of calculating XP. Thus, you gained very little XP towards your Ankyros Prime.

Only I did gain experience on Ankyros... it was rank 6 during the mission so I don't see why it would be less after the mission. This also never happened to me before using Hysteria. I heard about the experience thing and I presumed it's true, but I've never seen it manifest like this. I'm pretty sure it's a bug, caused by another bug, the melee lock-up, which also lead to Hysteria not working properly.
