Sprint Speed

Question

I haven't played the game since... something like September, so I had no idea what's going on with patches.
Now I log and try to play, but I can't run. I thought shift was somehow broken, but it works for slide, so it supposedly initiates "sprint".
Then I tried Nova with "lighter" weapons(had Ogris\Galatine, thought they were now considered "heavy", changed to Soma\Fang Prime) - no result whatsoever. And as far as I remember, there has been tremendous difference between Frame sprint speed, with Nova being 2nd after Loki.
Finally I tried sprint speed mod, which was only lazily upgraded to 15%, since it had almost no use whatsoever - and it "did" make it "look" like I'm "running"... by about 15% faster.

I tried asking it in chat, but it's not quite the place to meet helpful people, so if anyone on forums could redirect me to the post describing the subject\similar thread or even explain themselves: what when and why it happened.

I understand that the game used to be too fast, to the point of exploit and ludicrousity. So if this is not my bug(I also haven't noticed other players blazing past me, as it used to be before), is this the reason why it was implemented?

Seriously, what the hell... Just tried a mission with main frame, Nekros, and some Rhino was breezing past me WITHOUT any moves. I had to keep up with rolls and slide-jump-slide all the time, just not to be left behind. What is wrong with the game?

Rhino prime is extremely fast.

No idea what kind of Rhino it was, but then just answer directly to this question.

"Is it normal that sprint, by itself, without any class\weapon\mod effect - does not increase the speed at all?"

Last time I played the game, sprint was... well, "sprint". It did it's purpose - it increased speed. It had reason to be pressed(beside acrobatics). And it further was augmented by class\weapon\mod.
Now I see that sprint does NOT give any speed(or maybe like 5% which I can't spot by eyes) at all, unless it is externally augmented.

Is THAT normal now?

A Vanguard Rhino Prime is as fast as a Loki. Maybe you've got a Dragon Key equipped...

It's not. Sprint works for me on every frame, and whenever i sprint the animation changes.

The Dragon Key you are using is slowing you, Hobbled one I think, just remove it

As the quote in Hangover says:

"You are literally too stupid to insult".

Thank you for not insulting me, so to say. Really embarassing. Now I remember reading something about those keys, somewhere around the time when I left - and the speed one was the one I crafted to just see what it does. And forgot about it. Guess I was too obsessed with possible changes that I forgot about what I did in the past.
