Are These Weapons Worth Having?

Aside from the Mastery XP, are the Burston Prime, Braton Prime, Sicarus Prime, Detron, AKbronco Prime, Bronco Prime, and Dakra Prime worth it to finish building?

 

I've already got the AKmagnus (not sure if this is even worth keeping anymore), Boar Prime, Boltor Prime, Brakk, Fang Prime (another weapon I'm not sure if it's worth keeping), Galatine (waiting for melee 2.0 to see if it'll be worth keeping), Gorgon Wraith, Heat Sword, Ignis, Latron Prime, Ogris, Orthos Prime, Paris Prime, Reaper Prime, and Vectis.

 

 

Also which is the better chocie between Paris Prime and Dread?

Also again if I level up a weapon, sell it and then build it again, do I get mastery XP for it a 2nd time or is it XP for one weapon only no matter how many times you build it?

Mastery only applies for the first time you rank it up.

 

As for the unfinished weapons, I would go for the Burston Prime, Akbronco prime, and perhaps the Braton/Dakra Prime (although we'll have to wait until Melee 2.0 to see if Dakra is worth it).

Paris vs ....Dread...

 

I personally prefer dread , but hey if you got the parts already go for paris

Detron is the only one I'd forma, like Brakk but no dropoff and innately good for anti-Grineer.

 

I would get them all, level them to 30, and then either sell or place in 'storage'. Personlly I'm really glad I kept my PP/Dread/LatronPrime even tho they weren't that great.

 

Dread vs PP is very close. Lots of threads about it. Basically Slash vs. Puncture, Flight Speed vs Faster Redraw.

I like paris prime better than dread, you wont notice a performance difference unless you're facing high lvl grineers.

The Dakra prime puts out stupid amounts of damage and hits 3 guys making it basically the best longsword in the game. Lets say you want to mod it for Grineer, You could do something like this with only a potato and no forma http://goo.gl/sRuFQV  and still have over 500 damage a swing base.

why would u use it on heavies tho?

isn't putting corrosive better for the small fries?

Lancers and Eviscerators are alloy armor, and they deal a hell of a lot more damage than the Troopers, Seekers and Melee Grineer, imo.

 

You could go Corrosive if you wanted a boost against ^ , but... meh. Personal preference. The bonus from viral affects everything so that's nice to have.

 

I basically dont melee Grineer very often, so I'm not sure what you'd want to build around.
