CaveCricket48
We can already upload custom clan emblems, the next level is custom syandanas! All you do is have the clan leader upload something like this: Then buy the Clan Syandana item from the market, equip it, and you look something like this: (images are crude examples, but you get the idea) It would just use the uploaded image as the texture for a generic, flat syandana, simple as that, but allows clans to really give their members a more distinct look. CaveCricket48
Completely unintentional, I swear.
ayliax
It'd be too difficult to actually make the syandanas move like they do. However, it'd be fine if you just want a 2D and looks awkward when it moves. Edited March 18, 2014 by Ayliax

Simply applying a 2D texture on a plane and giving it cloth physics is completely possible, and it would act exactly like current Syandanas do. However, real Syandanas are 3D and that bit of depth really makes them interesting. But, on that subject, are Misa/Noru 2D?

RoboDoge
They might work as Skins for regular ones, but i dont know how painful implementation would be. It is not as easy as adding clan emblems.
shut
OP means overpowered, but the way you're using it doesn't make any sense, so what does it stand for when you used it? Basically what Zerrien said. It can also mean "Original Poster" or "Original Post" depending on context. OT: Creating a 2D cloth that functions based on the shape of the uploaded image is going to be incredibly difficult, and simply having preset physics will look ridiculous with certain images (e.g. a thin scarf colliding with objects when the edges aren't anywhere near). It's best to have a simple cloth cape/scarf/cloak that can have a decal applied to it.
