Credits Not Earned During Missions

I'll replay a misision, farming for certain things or running a nightmare mission and I'll hit every chest/trove and get the standard credit reward.  I open nothing, and get the standard.  What is the point of these troves, if we don't get the credit reweards for opening them???

Those credits don't show up in the reward screen, but they are acquired.
