Sony has to certify it in order to go through and update the game, which could take a week or two. Even so, DE considers both the PS4 version and the PC version to be the SAME game. DE set the precedent by doing this before, so you expect they could do it again. And it's not an update, its a color pack that comes in a message to your inbox. Are you telling me that Sony has to certify when a game wants to add a color pack? Then why did the "double resource collection" booster kick in? That particular part of the holiday bonus is currently in effect, did Sony certify that portion only? Sure, its just some colors for your warframe, not a gamechanger by any means, but it kind of defeats the purpose of releasing something on a particular holiday. They can change stuff like spawn rates and stuff, but cant change say.. i dunno. what color vor's underpants are without a actual update. Fact of the matter is that we got the valentines day color pallet on valentines day. They were able to do this because it is either A: It already existed in U11.5 and it activated on valentines day. or B: they had the ability to send out a reward to everyone server side. The Shamrock pack existed in the market, so i have the feeling that it would have needed to be added in a patch in order to add it to the store (i think) So basically they circumvented it and either forgot to add it in the U12 update or purposely made it PC only. Anyone notice that they did not announce it at all? If it was not for someone in the forums mentioning it, we would have never known. I think someone is keeping quiet on purpose. Edit: as much as i love to try and support DE's stupid decisions on "exclusivity" this is getting rediculous. Frankly im surprised a simple color palette is irking me so much... They did indeed have that color pack for PC last Valentine's Day. So, following that logic, and assuming DE decides to, does that mean that the PS4 will get the Easter, Red White and Blue, and Halloween ones when those holidays arrive? Pretty sure that st. patrick's day is a calendar holiday. It could have just been put into U12 for us. There is not excuse for not programming it in.
