Is Dread Better Than Paris?

Alright, so Dread is building in the foundry right now, and has about one hour left.

I'm thinking about immediately selling my Paris after Dread is completed, but... should I?

Is it better than Paris? Worse? About the same? What are the advantages and disadvantages over Paris?

Should I keep them both and just get rid of my Vulkar?

(in case it isn't clear, my inventory is full)

Dread is comparable to Paris Prime, different damage types, better than regular Paris.

Don't sell it till you have Paris Prime cause they completely different. Dread is really good for infested (except Ancients) and low level Grineer. In other cases it useless. Paris is good for everything. And Paris Prime is just godlike-weapon-of-choise among bows.

Dread is good all over planets and into the Void and against all faction. As always, depends how you mod it. It is more powerful than most weapons in my inventory.

Definitely a keeper unless you think it looks ugly. :-)

I'd sell your Vulkar, rather than the Paris or Dread. It's pretty terrible compared to the bows (except Cernos).

I ended up selling my Vulkar last night and kept both. :D

 

The Dread is pretty great.
