How To Mod A Terrify/desecrate Focused Nekros?

Question

Easily my favorite frame and I honestly don't mind having him as a "farming" build. It just means there'll be demand for him in missions. I honestly don't know how to mod him other than the obvious Natural Talent.

Anyone with a decent build that works around this?

Thanks in advance. =)

EDIT: I guess Terrify will have to suffice for CC over SotD.

You cannot mod for Desecrate AND SotD cause they need the exact opposite of each other for mods. SotD needs duration and strength.. guess what? those two are useless for Desecrate, it needs range and max efficiency(with - power duration) which is useless for SotD.

...that also has SotD as a supplementary skill?

Anyone with a decent build works works around this? I don't plan on having SotD be too powerful. Just a little something to keep Nekros "themed".

imo u have to decide for one build (at the same time) and don´t try to combine two that different builds

such combinet builds are weak and rly useless

Nekro...the best use of him is max range and max efficiency for Desecrate. Sotd and the rest is there for backup used.

Which on the other hand, Sotd need duration and strength...which as a result, you will have less range and efficiency...

If you go for the middle then I think you better not use those corrupted mod...

currently my build is desecrate build...so cant help you much.

This is my Terrify/Desecrate build:

Most people will tell you that Terrify is useless and it costs too much energy. It is certainly not the best CC move but I really wanted a Nekros which could do something along side Desecrate - Terrify works very well.

My build allows for continual use of both... I am yet to run out of energy in a long survival and it allows me to contribute something else to the team. Something else in the form of approximately 60 something percent armour reduction in conjunction with Corrosive Projection while it effects around 20 something enemies at a time.

I personally dislike Shadows of the Dead and find it immensely distracting so I leave it out. I was determined to create a successful combination build and it works pretty well for me.

Streamline up to 25%, Fleeting Expertise up to 50%, Stretch Max, Overextended Max, Natural Talent Max.

Try those mods. Put whatever else you want with leftover points. You'll be desecrating corpses in rooms that you're not even in.

So this is what I've come up with.

I'm still not too sure about Corrosive Projection because I'm not aiming for major debuffs but rather to use Terrify as a distraction. Thinking of Energy Siphon though.

So after some play-testing, this will be the build I'm going for. -->http://goo.gl/cRM9Pc

I looked through old threads of similar Desecrate builds but I'm not fond of the whole Equilibrium trend that's going on with Nekros.

Vitality + Rage for extra energy. Nekros' shields are quite low so there's honestly no point in me using Redirection.

Max Fleeting Expertise for the -60% duration since this will lower the cooldown timer on Terrify, allowing me to reuse it quickly if need be. I don't really care about the debuff on enemy armor since I have only ever used it for CC and to keep enemies of my back when they're either swarming my objective or when reviving a teammate.

Flow, just for the extra energy pool for Rage.

The only problem I have now is with the Aura slot that I want to polarize as well. But I'm honestly torn between Rejuvenation or Energy Siphon. I'll get a ton of health orbs with Desecrate to heal myself so I may not need Rejuvenation but with enough HP with Vit + Rage and Energy Siphon, I can get enough energy to use Terrify for CC and spam Desecrate for more health orbs as well.

I'd like some input on this regarding which mod would suit the build I'm going for.
