Seriously? We Still Cant Tell Which Mod Is Mounted On Our Sentinel Weapon?

For gods sake DE!!

even though we have asked again and again, i still cant tell which mod is mounted on my sentinel weap.?

now when i am using the sweeper on my Carrier, and i have the Drakgoon as a main.

because im using both blaze, hells chamber, point blank and Viscious spread on both (i have 2 copies of each)

now i cant fit any of those mods on my sobek, because i keep gettin an message saying the mod is already used on my sentinel weapon?? no matter if i try BOTH!!! copies of the mods?

i believe this is caused by me using the auto resolve option, when trying to fit the same copy of a mod, on both sentinel and main weapon? and because the mods have now been switched between the A, B, and C, setups randomly,

(both on my Sweeper and my Drakgoon)

its now impossible to try to fit those mods on any other weapons!!!

So,..... if ONLY i could see

( with a little sentinel icon at the  bottom right or left, on the mod, in the mod selecting menu),

which one of the copies, are fitted on the sentinel, this would solve that problem, AND the autoresolve feature would use THE SAME copy on both A, B, and the C, setup!!

This is so stupid, i dont even.......

Please upvote, if you guys are annoyed this havent been solved yet...

Upvoted.

I have to religiously keep my dethmachine equipped while modding/leveling all rifles, and sweeper equipped while moddling/leveling shotguns, just to avoid this problem, and keep my sentinel, primary mods correctly separated.  It works for me, and I have little trouble, but it shouldn't be such an unfriendly process, especially when we have 2 copies of fully ranked mods total.

It frustrates allot of my friends in game though.

The last update helped a bit, because it tells you when you drag the mod into the mod slot, but having a small icon indicating that the mods are equipped on the sentinel as you've described here would be a great help.

Yep...and the fact that equipping mods and saving them sometimes does not save it.

I made a Build B for Volt and none of that saved.

G3 is broken

Vacuum is broken

Lights are broken.

RNG is borokin.

So many bugs left un-squashed.  Less Reinforcements, moar bugfixes.

Hmm, why stop at only show which one is equipped on sentinels? Why not apply this to all items? Like when you hover your mouse on a mod, it will tell you that mod is equipped on what items (warframes, weapons, ...).

Also +1 for bring this up again.

Absolutly agree on that..

I just alternate my fully modded Sweeper and Deth Machine Rifle inversly to my primaries.

Easy solution and it balances out to allow; A) a close range primary with your sent softening them up till you get there. B) (preferably) a long-mid weapon with your sent picking the close ones off.

It sounds like updates will have more of this^now instead of adding more weapons. I think DE should (after melee 2.0) take some time to fix and polish the game they got now before adding more content.

Wow when they add those tooltips! Must take a second to make them appear as I have yet to see them.

I find the easiest way of solving this is to unequip all mods from weapons. Make your weapon build on your sentinel and then build weapons. Any time the game highlights a problem always lick cancel and solve it your self by adjusting the mod on the primary weapon.

That way the sentinel will always be using its own set.

Well, there's this.

as this is definetly useful, it dosent work 50% of the time anyway.

Yeah, but we shouldent be forced to use such shananigans to fit our mods,

we still need a icon on the mod fitted on the sent. weap..

The tooltip pointed out above does exactly what you're asking for. If a mod is in use somewhere, it has a little blue arrow at the bottom. Mouse over this little blue arrow and it tells you what items this mod is currently in.

You don't get the tooltip when mousing over the mod, you have to point at the little blue arrow.

I don't recall seing that tool-tip mentioned in any of the release notes, and I make a habbit of always reading them.

Did I miss something?

I was just about to join the rant and go light my pitchfork on fire in order to join the mob.

Maybe this tool-tip should be made to appear when hovering over the mod, and not just the little arrow?

Ah, ok thx,..... but that blue arrow dosent appear in the weapon mod selection screen,, only in the main mod menu screen?

so yeah dosent work,..  we need to be abel to see that blue arrow where we fit the mods to the weapon!!

we need a sentinel / Weapon icon on the mod, same size and colour as the blue arrow, and next to it, so we can tell both in the sentinel, AND in the weapon fitting menus, if a specific mod is fitted on a weapon, OR on a sentinel....
