DrBorris
I know, the title has two things wrong with it. There is no T4 nor Void assassinate. But what if there was... Imagine doing a mission with a corrupted version of every boss lined up to kill you. They could: -all come at you at once. -be in separate rooms, waiting for your arrival. -or maybe sitting at the door waiting for the guy in front of them to have their turn. To spice things up, there could be random dual bosses (Ruk and Kril sounds fun), and a guaranteed visit from a stalker that does not get squashed like a small insect. And to finish a wonderful round, a four headed Lephantis will dominate you. Now to clarify some stuff. -It is impossible to take an OP setup and solo this mission. -EDIT: After further though i would like to revise this to... It is possible to do this Solo, but a group of people can not be carried by one because the boss level is based on combined conclave. -A trinity with max blessing will have trouble keeping energy (or make it so the bosses can’t have energy vampire put on them) -Even Vor and Alad scare you and Zanuka gives you nightmares. -only a group of 4 coordinated frames and strategy can complete the entire mission. -EDIT: No consumables, you can NOT put down a ammo or energy restore, you must make use of your limited supply. Now for our friend, Lephantis. -It has 4 heads, as stated earlier. -It is harder than the past bosses combined. -there is a cliché moment when you think you beat Lephantis, and something comes back. Here is my idea of how the 4 headed Lephantis fight goes… Once you finish the last of the normal bosses, the four heads pop up and you do the normal routine. Obviously the damage given by each head is much higher than now, and the new corrupted shoots those void lasers we all love. Once you “kill” the heads upstairs the floor opens up (like a door, not breaking like in the derelict) and you fall down and go on attempting to kill Lephantis again. Once you destroy all of the heads for the second time, the neural sentry presents itself. I imagine a flying orb-ish thing with numerous moving parts. Because we all love void lasers, the neural sentry has a giant one. This would be the star of his show, with basic knockdown abilities and other stuff to compliment it. Now, if the neural sentry manages to kill a team member (which it most likely will at least once), it will suck them up and spit out a corrupted version. So, if you are rhino and you die, you get to watch the AI control your precious rhino and try to kill your teammates while your teammates try to kill you. And only if your teammates kill the corrupted you, can they revive you and have you back on their side good as new. The defeating of the Neural Sentry should probably have a lore thing thrown in and a cut scene with it coming back to life yadda, yadda. Now, most teams will not make it past the Neural Sentry, so because the team put in so much effort before Lephantis and accomplished to kill all of the previous bosses, they should be rewarded with pity rewards (aka normal rewards). If you kill the neural sentry (which will not often happen), you are rewarded with a (now for the controversial part) piece of a discontinued item along with the pity gift. I am not saying to put the founder’s exclusive stuff in there (even though that would be nice) but put in some of the other discontinued stuff. So you can either get a Snipetron Vandal barrel, or a fifth boar stock. If you do not like this part, ignore it and comment on the other stuff. As far as T1-T3, I have no idea. I made this T4 because all of the T3 missions are far too easy in comparison, especially after they nerfed T3 defense. Maybe the other T4 stuff could have random bosses thrown in? So one of the enemies in survival is Kril? I don’t know, but this is a discussion so somebody else can come up with a solution. This is in discussion so don’t just say “no”, that is not a discussion. And to that smart “donkey” who puts in “No” or another synonym, ha ha. EDIT: Just clarified some things. Edited March 23, 2014 by DrBorris

SALE94
-It is impossible to take an OP setup and solo this mission. = fake difficulty Other ideas are good. Edited March 18, 2014 by SALE94
meIody-
I feel like that grineer destroyer concept would be a better form of difficulty. If you want it, it's here. https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/159814-boss-concept-the-grineer-destroyer-a-boss-aimed-at-endgame/?hl=%2Bgrineer+%2Bdestroyer Edited March 18, 2014 by MorteTacere
Kyte
I'd call it T4 Boss Rush, and it'd be kinda fun. But if you mean to gate the majority of players from successfully completing it then the rewards better not be something everybody wants or a) the forums will explode and b) your precious mission will get rebalanced. And we all know DE's tendency to overshoot with rebalancing.
(PSN)Kamranos
Sounds like a page out of Diablo's book. Not so far fetched other than foreseeable performance issues with all bosses plus a new one. Another idea to keep if fresh, is make it three super versions of random bosses. That way it 1. doesn't get old 2. make it very easy to build strategy. Three powerful bosses all at once. There really is no way to make a difficulty that is OP proof. there will always be that one guy out there that can solo everything. The Stalker idea is nice, but honestly unless you knockdown spam him, he's currently not that squishy. Maybe give him a 35% chance to show up anywhere in the level. gives you reason to keep looking over your shoulder all the way to extraction. If you currently find every T3 super easy, then you are the OP person you are trying to make not able to complete it. Some of use want a reason to use all of our revives in one game and I say have at it. Just so long as you don't take away the farming ability for non-OP players and only give it to the elitists. You may want a massive challenge, but I don't want an impossible mission so only the no-lifers can get even more OP. A more realistic challenge evolution would be nightmare versions of the current tower missions.
RoboDoge
We do need Void bosses. Even if they are corrupted versions of normal bosses.
Nerevar22g
great idea, actually I would love to see T4 Extermination, just to bring back the good old days when T3 extermination was very hard, very rewarding and extremely fun. Simply because we didnt have such ridiculously powerful guns as we do now. So, Void Extermination with enemy level ranging from 40-55, maybe some lvl 70 leader units, hell yea
Morec0
I had an idea for a Orokin Void Assassination boss a while back: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/178464-orokin-void-assassination-the-orokin-central-security-maintenance-mainframe/ And then there's this awesome idea: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/175548-zet-kuur-the-orokin-grand-admiral-big-update-on-zet-kuurs-biography/

Davoodoo
OP pls tell me how do you want to prevent players from using op gear to trivialize it and how 20s immunity blessing for 25 energy would make trinity run out with 4 energy siphons in team + occasional team energy restore. I dont find it any harder than what we have now and no amount of artificial difficulty is gonna fix it. Edited March 19, 2014 by Davoodoo

So, Void Extermination with enemy level ranging from 40-55, maybe some lvl 70 leader units, hell yea T3 Ext wasn't all that difficult even in the "good old days" either though, since we still had ridiculously powerful weapons back then that totally ignored armor; e.g. the Flux Rifle or Acrid, in addition to the fact that elements like cold always proc'd. On the topic, as noted, it sounds like Fake Difficulty and I can't agree with gating content behind "oh, you can't do it solo because... pickles". And to head off the "but it's a co-op game!" excuse at the pass: "Stand alone or fight together..." - from the "about" section on the game's Steam page, the ability to solo's an advertised feature, which means it needs to be a viable one, particularly since some people don't have an option except to play solo due to connection issues/drawing the ire of Netcode Monkey. Feallike
Interesting.... If there was 5 bosses, (this includes stalker) then that would be epic, ofcourse you would have to turn off all auras from this boss. This would make Trinity, Nova, Rhino, even Vauban. Very very difficult to use, you would have to think about when your going to use your abilites and which you will use. Should Trinity use Blessing on the first boss or use energy vampire on 2 bosses? Should Nova use MP on the last boss? Or attempt to 1 shot 2 of the bosses with AMD? Should Rhino Rhino stomp or save his energy to use Iron skin 2x??? This would make strategy ACTUALLY WORK! :D PLZ DE! PLZ! Also if this boss stacks with Conclave points like Vor does this would solve the SOlo problem since all the bosses would be allot weaker then they would be in a actual match.
