LordMidnightX
Is it the grind? the repetitiveness of the game? the bad experience for new people I don't know it seems like people in my experience with my clan at least they pick up the game and really like it, they have fun on it, then just kinda fizzle out and don't come back. One of the reasons I made a clan was to recruit some new people and help them out, to get them started in the game. I don't know I have played a lot of games but this one just seems to have a larger amount of people who pick it up then quit. Anyway thoughts? Discussion? does it seem like a lot of people join then leave or is this game around average for it? Also what kind of things should change to keep more people interested for longer. Kartumterek
A very common mistake made by people in this game is to make a clan and make it as big as possible. In other games this works, in this game the SMALLER the clan the better.

EagleRise
just waiting for melee 2.0.the game has lots of people coming back to it every major update. Edited March 19, 2014 by EagleRise
LordBeeBrain
It's the lack of a story, honestly. A game without a story is just... Well... A shooting simulator? That's what it feels like, anyway. Yeah, I get that they're releasing lore in chunks, but still. Instead of adding new frames every major update. Or weapons/cosmetics/etc. every week, they should be working on releasing the lore. Edit: Vor's prize would be greatly appreciated, since they've been talking about that damn thing since... forever ago... Edit 2: Continuing to delay melee 2.0 isn't helping them, either. Beas7ie
Grind and repetition. I mean the maps are all just tilesets. Sure they're "randomized" but everything is mostly the same. What they need to do is get different environments based on the planets or moons. Everything planetside map except for Earth is the same snowy mountain type facility. What they need to do is change is based on the level name. For example Olympus on Mars, could be MOUNT OLYMPUS on Mars. Think Mass Effect 3. When you go to Mars you knew right away with all the red that you were on frekkin Mars. Not some generic space moon with snow and mountains. And the ships add more stuff to the ships. Make crew quarters, crew rec areas, and a bridge with a captains chair. There is so much more they can add.
Gryphticon
A very common mistake made by people in this game is to make a clan and make it as big as possible. In other games this works, in this game the SMALLER the clan the better. It isn't a mistake, I made a large clan simply because I wanted to, I knew the risks compared to smaller clans. It's a risk moon clan warlords take to make a clan that's actually very active in the clan chat. Small clans are mostly inactive in the clan chat. The point is that making large clans isn't a mistake but rather something risky a new clan leader chooses to take. Is it the grind? the repetitiveness of the game? the bad experience for new people I don't know it seems like people in my experience with my clan at least they pick up the game and really like it, they have fun on it, then just kinda fizzle out and don't come back. Back to the topic, the main reason is: tis game sucks imo (100% boring) Edited March 19, 2014 by Gryphticon
StabbyTentacles
Character development (in-depth character development) not just the limited scope currently available. Weapon development...(in-depth weapon development) again not just the limited scope currently available. No point in having a gagillion missions, if you have no reason/purpose to do them…
Hyunsai
Lack of story, lack of content if they've got powerful enough frames and weapons. Once the only challenge left is 50+ minutes survival or defense, you can be bored very quickly. Edited March 19, 2014 by Hyunsai

Phantasmo
Pure boredom since there's nothing new to do, there's no point in playing since there's no story to push forward, and it takes half an hour for a Survival or Defense mission to become interesting and challenging. It's an rpg. The answer is ALIENS. blah blah blah. stuff happens. blah blah, try to get emotional, blah blah. IT WAS ALIENS. As for clannies dropping, do you play with them? I've found that when you play together, people keep playing. When you don't play together, people go play something else. They're not quitting the clan/game because they had so much fun last night they want to do it again tonight.

(PSN)ELIT3_EXP3RT-01
Yeah I play for gameplay. Story is for games like Skyrim and Final Fantasy. In my clan they are active usual every ps4 update for at least a week or two. As a leader however having in-game platinum rewards for conclave tournaments seem to keep them active too. Guy with the least number of kills on tuesday night has to pay for pizzas and wings on friday(no ult spamming allowed!) Well most of them have decided to move on from Warframe already. Apparently it's not worth their time anymore. All I'm hoping for is that Melee 2.0 is good enough to bring them back.
Navarc
Limitations I'm guessing, the limit on weapons and warframes, when they hit the limit they'll have to either buy plat, learn to trade (which should never be a forced thing in any game) or spend their starter plat. Derikel
Lack of Content. New shiny Guns & Shiny new Warframe doesn't cut it in the long run. The new tilesets are cool, but its the same old &#! enemies since I started playing (U6). Oh and the removal of infested nodes killed my small clan as well. Nobody is playing anymore. seren77
As far as new players, I got the game the the day before update 12. This game is not very kind to new players, the mod and fusion system desperately needs a tutorial. I still see people struggling in higher systems that are rank 0 and obviously never learnt to fuse redirection and vitality. It also needs to tell people about potato's and I dare say your starting frame should come with a potato, not everyone knows that 50p you get is best spent on a potato. The other problem is it's so hard to get an upgrade for new players your stuck with that horrible braton for days and days and the same frame. Wich is in no way how the rest of the game is, after a certain point you can easily farm new warframe everyday and get multiple new weapons building, so why is so hard to get new gear for new players, when it's so easy when your about a week in the game. As far as higher rank players I think they just want higher level and harder content. After you can solo outer terminus, got all the corrupted vault mods, nightmare modes, done all the t3 voids to the point it's not very challenging then theres not much left to do, except taxi people and wait for nightmare alerts (I do enjoy those) Give us t4 void (with the amount of new primes coming out it would help desaturate the loot tables), another planet that has lvl40-60 mobs to give people something challenging to do until badlands, proxywars etc comes out
