Shutting Off The Alarms

Now, being able to save your stealth mission is cool and all, but it all feels... Off.

 

My problem is the fact that the ability to shut off the alarms is permanent. It kind of kills the difficulty in some missions if all you have to do to stop hordes of enemies is flip a switch at any given time.

 

I feel that there should be a cut off time added to shutting off the alarm. Maybe 1 or 2 minutes, and they'll just figure it's a false alarm. After that, it's too late. Everyone knows your here.
