Help, Is This A Good Way To See If One Weapon Is Better Than Another?

I am currently deciding what weapon I should build next (Karak or Latron) and am having trouble making a choice, so one thing I did was see which weapon costs more platinum and the one that did I thought was slightly better because of that. If a weapon costs more platinum than another weapon does that mean it is a little better or is what I am saying complete nonsense? Also what I am asking is in general, not just for the two weapons I am deciding between.

if your seriously looking for a long term weapon that you plan on keeping for awile, i would do extensive research on the wiki before spending hard earned cash on anything

price has nothing to do with power. the starter sword the Skana costs more then the Jat Kittag.

Latron is WAY more fun than the Karak imho. The karak is basically just a slightly better Braton but with the latron you have great single shot damage and accuracy.

I personally like the Karak a lot! Although there isn't a really good way to determine if a weapon is good or not without experience. 

I would get the Karak instead but if you need help with other things you could try asking your clan(If you have one), other players (Region chat, forum posts, ETC), or even just looking up stats on wiki.

Plat Prices won't tell you anything. Best thing to do is look up videos for both and see which one fits your play style more. Also it has the basic info for both weapons in the codex even if you don't have them yet and if you want more detailed info check out the wiki but be warned the wiki can be wrong sometimes.
