GRiMtox
Warframe has the big grinding and repetitive problem that new players have to farm for hours to build a new weapon, currently. This deterrents them from playing the game and they never touch it again. Even in higher tiers of playtime I got the response that it takes too long to get a new weapon. The sad thing is that DE never changed much about this. They know that the grinding, the ongoing farm is the biggest problem in Warframe, but they do not react to it and if they do it takes them forever. My idea to make that a little bit better is to give new players a selection of weapons they can chose from after reaching a new mastery rank. Of cause it should not be a Boltor Prime or a Ogris, but we have a range of weapons in the game that I would classify as "beginners weapons". These gifts should be granted up to mastery rank 3 and the player should be informed about it when he starts the game for the first time. This way a new player has a goal in the distance other than the easy to reach level 30 of their Warframe and their weapon. It teases them to continue playing and therefor sinking deeper into the game. I would like to read your thought on this.
Sunfaiz
Agreed, but it should be something like the burston , latron or grakata. it should explain the difference. My question is what is said player already has the weapon ? Any of those weapons could be obtained from the market, the aren't OP enough to be rank locked like Soma. GRiMtox
Agreed, but it should be something like the burston , latron or grakata. it should explain the difference. Good points. It could be a selection of three weapons per rank. Rank 0-1: Latron, Burston, Strun Rank 1-2: Kogake, Bo, Heat Dagger Rank 2-3: Lex, Furis, Bronco Under the field to chose them the weapon should be explained. On what range it should be played etc.
Maou
DE should make a sort of shooting range, where you can test weapons. I know trying to craft a gun takes too long at some point, and well you might not end up liking the gun after you have crafted it. You would feel frustrated. So yeah, a shooting range would fit perfectly here, specially to the newbies who doesn't have anything good to begin with, and it would be a sort of tease to them. since they would be striving to get the said toy that they liked. Silverton
The bad thing about this game with new players is they have no idea what the stats on guns is about and even after research I still don't really know. This game isn't very noob friendly and anything that DE could do to improve their playing would be helpful both to noobs and probably DEs bank account. A happy player is a potentially paying customer.
IIJetfireII
2 words- Endless grind. Also they should start giving more values to mastery rank like locks on more weps and also locks on alerts or somethin' as well as add the testing room, to try out the weapons than simply using on enemies right away. Decoy's in the training room could be great similar to the ones we went through tutorials or simply similar to loki's Decoy, to test out the dmg against any specific enemy.
