00zau
This would be a similar concept to the Hijack missions, except that there's a moving platform that you have to stay with. Basically, the lore is that your group infiltrates an enemy base and steals a train loaded with supplies, which you then ride out of the base to exfil. Most of the mission is about shooting up the base and enemies as you ride the train out of the base; there will be points where you need to shoot out things blocking your path, for example blowing up a train-car on the track in front of you. In addition, enemies will try to get on the train to hack a terminal to halt the train (a player will need to hack the terminal again to restart the train). Being stopped is a huge danger because there are massive enemy forces following the train; if you are stopped you could be quickly overwhelmed. Enemy forces increase over time, so the longer you remain stopped the harder it is to stop the enemy. Possible addition: when you get far enough (maybe to "outside the base, but not to exfil" the enemies will cease trying to repossess the cargo and instead try to destroy it. Something in the cargo becomes a MDef point that you have to defend for the last stretch (the terminal to stop the train will become unhackable to prevent having to defend two points at once). Kaethill
I like this idea... Hijack Was kind of boring to short and lacking. Good idea I would love to play this game mode!
OriVerda
Add in an option to switch trains and move between multiple ones as a kind of platform and you have got yourself a deal. Gametype name: Steampunk Escape. Hehehe.
