Give Better Rewards For Defense/survival + Leaderboards

i will just copy/paste what i wrote on another thread but it didnt fit in it so here is its own topic.

 

 

most players can easily go pretty high in any defense/survival mission no matter if mercury or T3 voids

 

 

but the problem is:  -------> W H Y SHOULD WE GO THAT HIGH?? <-------

 

1. even if u do it for ur personal "omg wanna see how far i can go" thing, after 2or 3 times that doesnt count anymore

2. farm void items <-- no thx. also it doesnt raise ur chance on the rare parts so why go higher than 30/40? or 1hour

3. but ur in the leaderboards! <-- please..  no one cares about a WEEKLY leaderboard were u get um.. oh yea ----> NOTHING<---

 

tl;tr  rewards suck hard for high defense/survival/leaderboards

 

why not give better stuff? why not get a chance for a 50k credit cache after 50 minutes or 40?

 

why not give the top leaderboard guys (no matter if def,surv or kills) something?

 

like

 

1.  gets 1 000 000 credits + 100 plat 

2. to 10. gets 500 000 credits + 50 plat

10 to 1000 get 250 000 credits + 25 plat

 

of course the win-plat is non tradeable

 

(just an example)

 

and if DE would do it.. dont rush the S#&$ like always THINK about it..  dont give the top 10  on a def/surv on mercury the same rewards like outer terminus top 5. etc

 

 

as i wrote just an EXAMPLE of rewards DE could give out.

Yeah and then we become competeitive and people start cheating, hacking and whatever. No thanks. Leaderboards are there for fun, not for real tournament.

 

I agree with the rewards that scale with defense and survival time though, 40 minute runs are the most eficient because enemies wont get too hard and you can get at least 2 rare parts.

 

As for credit caches and resources: I d say make credit caches in t3 at elast 20k and give us resources in 10 packs, theyre worthless otherwise.

The credit's rewards in survival and defense should be fixed at 1k/minute

 

It happens that you get credits at 5 mins? that's 5k

 

It happens that you get credits at 10 mins? that's 10k

 

It happens that you get credits at 15 mins? that's 15k

 

And so on... maybe hard capped at 60k @ 60 mins. (more minutes should still award 60k)

 

That would be cool and actually feel rewarding even if only credits are gained.
