Why Are You Keep Doing That?

I think that I am not alone, but have you ever noticed that Tenno are "stealing" xp?

The last time things like this happened more often(in my opinion)

I am doing Kiste to lvl my stuff and I ALWAYS write in chat:

"Please stay near terminal"

What I mean: Hey buddies. It would be good, when you stay near the terminal, because I want to lvl. So I beg you to do that.

What some Tenno think I mean: Hey, you are allowed to stay near terminal and it doesn´t matter if you do, because I am happy today.

WRONG

I say that, because it does a lot more fun to defend the terminals and I want to lvl my stuff.

The most Tenno are nice and do that because they are Tennos and Tennos help each other.

But still some Tenno think they are so good that they keep sitting somewhere where you can´t the XP from the dead enemies.

I call that XP STEAL.

This is for the Tenno who steal XP:

Why are you keep stealing XP. Noone likes it and there is a thing called XP SHARE. This allows that all the Tenno can lvl TOGETHER. Not alone like you.

So I beg ALL Tennos out there to be a REAL TENNO and do the missions as a team.

So stop Pubbing. Problem solved. Find a group of people, or exclusively advertise groups with the intent of exp farming.

Not everyone adheres to your concept of "fair' and "proper" ways to play this game. And while I agree that its "better' to have everyone centralized if only for the sake of drops, I don't think its worth getting upset about either.

Unfortunately you'll always find Defense/Hallway/Doorway heroes who just love to hog all the attention/XP. It's not always of bad will either; sometimes it's because they genuinely think they're helping the crew by tanking outside and not allowing them near terminal (those people can be reasoned with).

The typical suggestion would be to find a team yourself, some friends you know can play as a team and actually listen to suggestions that can benefit their team, and not just their ego. You can even try the recruiting channel if you feel like it, though it's usually filled with "LF T3 Ext" and such.

I have posted treads about this, the quality of squads team play I decreased allot.

Yet people play bad and still don't mind, or are ok with some doing all the kill wile the others aren't gaining nothing.

I have seen teams loose cause all ppl abandon the console and do not protect it, etc.

Yet most ppl do very clever arguments, but they all lack the recognition that they play bad, and dont win nothing by playing that way.

Be prepared buddy, for the thousand of coments of:

"play solo"

"play with friends"

"Teach them"

"dont get matchmaking random pugs"

Cause those are the clever arguments most these ppl have.

Worrying about who kills what is silly. Assist XP is more than adequate. Nobody is a special snowflake with the right to get mad because someone else isn't holding back so you can benefit slightly more than usual.

Instead, focus on simply making sure as much dies as possible. Help maximize the carnage and everyone benefits about the same.

Some got use to call them "door heroes", this kind of player prefer play alone in a coop game.
They think they're so strong that they can do it alone, covering one door when most ennemies come from another one.

If you got 3 of them in your crew, let the point down, some of them even don't realize that they're wrong and think a defense can be success like that (wait for a pack of melee ennemis, the point will die so fast).

I personnaly ask them to "don't fight too far, please", after I add a "let's gather xp on point", if one still fighting alone, I'll take fun by focus all ennemies in his range. When I play mag or an huge aoe warframe. A bit stupid, I know. This depends of the first reaction after an polite query.

The fact is that you will got to deal with them or play private, a bit like runner versus explorer, go a lot of way to play, play private or deal with all of them. Yep a bit fatalist...

If it can comform you : They lose the most XP by fighting alone.
Even if the are top frag. If you are too far to share xp to mate, you are too far to have shared xp from them, so no xp for unuse weapon.

One alone don't have shared xp from 3, simple math (less simple with a big aoe warframe killing in spawn from a nice place to get crew xp).
I personnaly enjoy have 2-3 * more frag than them at end of defense, just by staying on the point, even if sometime I'm bored to can't leave the point alone cause no one will take care of it before it lose half its life.

It's called ignorance,it's everywhere not just in this game.Unfortunatly it's upto you to let it go and instead focus on the people and teams you find that are cool, often surprisingly so.

Keep playing random, keep playing public and every other option thats open to you so the doors are open for you to help others with the same frustrations as yourself.Good luck.

When I get put into a game with door warriors I purposely sit back and let the enemies kill the objective. That way they might learn to stick a little closer (or at least occasionally come back).

I do that too.

But there is a problem if there is a Tenno who doesn´t do this and acts how to told him to

you get xp from their kills as well, but it iss still very annoying and xp is not an excuse for doing that

Nope, there is a range for share the xp, if you are too far you'll don't get xp.

That's the hurting point, playing an endless def to get some xp and lose half of it, just cause you are the only guy how really def the point...

For example, on the point of xini, you'll don't earn xp from ennemis killed 5 m behind doors on the far left where you got a lot of player how love spawn kill).

its all too common, people say im playing how I want, I tell them your basically taking the xp and leaving the others with next to nothing, they say I don't care, I let them play to end and abort before xtract if im hosting, that way everythings lost, but I do let them know first, ok, you don't have to stay on the console all the time, cover the doors in room, but its just being selfish, pure and simple to go out of range and kill things, I don't do it to take xp away from you, I don't expect you to do it to me, or the other players

When i join a game i generally think the more players the more mobs spawn, if they run on individually then i won't stick with them, i don't have problem with that.

But so far only comes down to the player that need to level gears. Only they will babbling when no one stick together, sometimes i do too.

So its a public game then it requires luck with certain players, there's really no point to complaint i think. Because forming a squad with similar understanding before proceed really seem more valid and efficient.

Leveling gear is a huge part of this game.

Yeah, that can be an issue. In those cases I whisper them and see if they'll agree with my course of action. If not I warn them before I abort the mission.

Is not huge when there's nothing left to forma and level.

There is always something left since you can have multiple of the same object. You (or whoever) having all gear level'd and forma'd does not mean there aren't numerous other players trying to level their gear. So as I said, leveling is a huge part of the game.

Unfortunately the assist XP range is rather lacking now, as is how much you get from it. It's gone completely downhill ever since Nekros came out.

I am at least thankful that there IS EXP share. Imagine if it was all based just on how much you used a weapon or frame and its kills. at least if you are in a general area you do manage to gain a little EXP. be grateful or we could be farming the heck out of our minds....and i'm pretty sure many would leave for that reason alone.

This is why I need a reputation system, so I can kick/blacklist this player so I never have to play with him again.

The pod didn't die, and he's going to lecture me because I played a way he didn't like?
