notionphil Posted March 19, 2014 Share Posted March 19, 2014 (edited) DE, you didn't want to 'fix' physical mods for a good reason...I just figured that out, my bad for being slow. If you had made +physical damage mods scale off of base damage (like accelerated blast) because they'd simply end up being stacked along with the rest of the Rainbow, adding to our maximum achievable damage AKA 'damage cap'. However, now that you are releasing +Ele Damage & Status mods, which I will assume don't increase the damage cap bc they are at +60%, you can change phys mods to +60% Phys Damage & 60% Status mods which scale off of base damage. This will provide more modding options without increasing our damage cap. Anyone want to check my math? Thanks.
