The Grustrag 3 Mark

So the grustrag 3 finally showed up in an invasion mission. Unfortunately this was on Neptune after i went through the teleport to the second part of the map. This meant that when they spawned the one with the hammer spawned in the first section of the map, I was unable to kill him and he was unable to kill me. I escaped the mission and finished.

So the question is am I still marked?

 That is a good question, but the bet is that you are no longer marked.  When they show up is probably when the mark is cleared.  So even though you didn't interact, the mark should be gone.

 

 Best bet is to just keep doing invasions against grineer and see if you get the mark again.  Seems to only take a few.

I think the whole thing is buggy as hell.  I've had a harvester mark since the 21st of January and have yet to be attacked despite running hundreds of corpus missions.  I've even done some of them in unranked frames with unranked weapons.  The only one who ever shows up is the Stalker.

Yes but in my case I couldn't kill the last one because he was stuck in the first part of the map. So I finished the mission and escaped. I remained marked because of that.

same here. stalker - 3 times in a week. harvester - never.

You're mark was more than likely taken, as for getting another mark it all depends on how much RNG loves you, 45 invasions and still only recieved 1 mark on the very first day of release.

AFAIK getting G3/Harvester mark isn't RGN. You'll get a mark after 5 invasions missions (maybe they have to be in a row) against the Grinner/Corpus and the G3/Harvester will show up randomly in a mission (except boss nodes i've heard) afterwards(this part is RNG).

 

Bosses only give you Stalker marks and iirc not all bosses do.

Yes you're marked. This very same thing happend to me today on invasion mission. I was so &!$$ed off. Played 2 solo missions and then tried my new unranked gear on mercury and they spawned there again. Was so annoying since I couldn't do enough damage to them. Needless to say that I failed that mission. :(

Well me and my group of friends have been trying to farm Brakk since it came out with G3, No matter how many Invasions we do it seems to refuse to remark most of us, only 1 group member has ever recieved a 2nd mark.

Well, i might as well be wrong, but leaving the marks to RNG would be a very poor decision by DE.

 

On that note, it seems that it's possible to get a mark without being told you got it, so they really should disclose that more clearly to the player.

You do not need to be marked for them to spawn. I've never received a mark from the stalker but he has targeted me many times. I've stopped receiving G3 marks yet they still appear when I solo.

Are you sure about that? how is that possible that they are spawning without marks during your solo run? 

 

I can confirm stalker's mark without needing to check the mail, cuz he never does send mails like the other 2 does, that's only if ya kill boss solo, and then next time, he can appear anytime, and if you have brought low lvl ones, he will appear anytime soon. But that's not necessary to apply this logic, cuz if he hasn't come after you for a while, despite killing bosses solo long time back, then he can still appear even if you have not killed any bosses solo recently.

 

G3 is the question, you have the mark, and when you defeat them, it's obvious that you lose a mark, or unless someone's there, then he will lose the mark instead and not you. I don't understand the logic, of them appearing without needing the mark, yes i am talking about G3, stalker's mark is different than salad and g3.
