Trading Msg Timer, Copy Paste, Msg History

The new Msg timer is a great feature to combat Spam but Honestly 2 minutes is a bit too long.

 

Things i can do in 2 mins..

 

Make a Coffee,Have a cigarette, go to letter box and check my mail, have sex with myself and or my partner lol Etc Etc Etc

I mean i am trying to sell a lot of things i have accumulated over the last 12 months and i feel at this rate its going to take me 12 more months.

 

I could understand 30 seconds or maybe even a minute but two mins is too long.

 

2nd Point i find it ridiculous  that in this day and age i have to revert to having excel spreadsheets and txt documents all over my desktop to be able to sell lots of varying items in trading, and are still mid blowingly confused as to why your system doesn't still allow the ability to scroll up or down in the msg box to bring up your text typing history so u can re-post a msg you typed already.

 

Why do i need this well if a get no response from a msg i posted i need to re-post this msg, also if i am in recruiting or in region chat and i am looking for players i again have to constantly retype the same msg over and over and over and over and over again, look ill all ready have carpel tunnel syndrome in my wrist and fingers and this isn't helping one bit.

 

I realize allot of players haven't heard of or ever used DOS but over 30 years ago computers had the ability to retype history and has a been a common Staple with pretty much all software internet and gaming and cant understand why this game dos not allow u to use msg txt typing history ?

If we wanna deal with tecnhicality, it is in the right catergory. However, you have a better chance to get response on something like General Discussion.

 

But hey, since I am spending my time on Trading, I'll drop my thoughts here. Yes, the anti-spam timer is good, it prevents constant walls of text appearing on the screen -- and it is not that it bothers me that it happens, but rather that I can't keep up with all of them and browse through all of them. A reduction to 1min, might be a good middle ground(?).

 

What I do have complains about, as far as Trading goes, is that it prevents discussions relevant to trading, and in return those are leaking to Region, where answers will not be given, but the messages are still cluttering the channel. While I could answer them, I won't, as it is not the right place for those type of discussions, but at the same time, I won't answer them on Trading either since I'd waste my posting "ticket". We could use a 2nd Trading channel, where discussions could happen, but it will be moderated the same way Region is, so the advertisment there will be bannable -- it will keep Trading clean and advert only while the extra channel will be for discussions and feedback regarding Trading.

 

As for the chat, it could use a lot of improvements -- chat history, typed messages history, username hyperlinks and context menus, user search box, clickable URL hyperlinks -- and the list goes on.

 

In the end, this whole issue could be fixed with an MMO-like AH, but that seems like a rather farfatched idea and one that might not be practically applicable due to Warframes p2p nature.

Yes i Agree 1 min to me is a sensible middle ground, and there are many other more common ways in 2014 ways of using chat in online gaming that u mentioned that should be in use today.

There was also i  point i didn't mention that what annoys me even more is when i make a typo i cant retract it or make a comment that something i type was wrong ie the price i missed like  zero or something for 2 mins for example 10 plat instead of 100 plat meanwhile i get spammed because of my mistake for 2 mins because i cant fix it hehe
