Major questions:

 

Next frame – Earth?

 

Many players have noted that while Nekros and Oberon are called the “necromancer” and “paladin” - and visually align with those classes - their powersets invoke “scavenger” and “(squishy) priest” instead. Ember has also been called overspecialized since the addition of Accelerant, while Saryn and Volt are spread thin between melee and sniper skills. Can we expect to see an “Abilities 2.0” movement at some point, not just to buff frame powers, but to revamp roles and increase synergy to Zephyr/Loki level?

 

Damage 2.0 is still needlessly complex in areas. We have 4 types of flesh, 2 types of Robotics (one of which applies to only two enemies) and 2 types of armor for Ancient Infested (which affect 6 uncommon enemies in total). Oberon’s a “paladin”, but Radiation is awful against the game’s “undead” analog. Blast damage is only positive against two niche enemy types, and weak to common Grineer; Magnetic is oddly ineffective against Ferrite. If damage tables are constantly being rewritten, when can we expect to see damage retuned again?

 

Minor questions:

 

When making a Warframe’s powers, what do you prioritize? (Frame theme, role, playstyle, niches, synergy between powers, etc?)

 

Rhino Prime's Iron Skin got a visual buff to turn gold. Can we expect something like this for the silver on alternate helmets for Primes (specifically Mag and Rhino's)? Yomo Syandana? Skills like Radial Javelin?

 

Rhino Prime has increased movement speed over his standard counterpart. Can we expect to see similar stat improvements on other Primes?

 

What about stat separation from the early cosmetic helmets?

 

Will we ever be able to color syandanas separately from frames?

What are your thoughts on player generated content in terms of cosmetics, and possibly even lore? The community is full of talented writers and artists, and having their influence might make things much more enjoyable to everyone and help the dev team come up with new ideas.

Wait for it.... Melee 2.0.... yes i did it again.

 

- Seriously though any plan for Saryn?

- Melee 2.0.. When?

- ETA on Badlands!?

- Nice start you got going on with Rhino, any plan on revisiting older prime's to give them that 'exclusive' flare?

- PS4 migration, when?

- While Tethra was a nice step forward difficulty wise, are there any plans to add "Harder" content to the star chart?

I've given up on asking about RNG and the market.

 

Why are Defense rewards still being left as they are?

 

As in, why is it still just one reward? It's been like this forever.

Staying in a mission does nothing to reward players for their effort.

 

There have been dozens and dozens of suggestions over the months, some of them are excellent, and still, the rewards remain unchanged.

 

The idea I had for it was every 10 waves, you would get 1 extra reward.

 

So

Wave 10 = 2 rewards

Wave 20 = 3 rewards

Wave 30 = 4 rewards

Wave 40 = 5 rewards

 

And so on.

 

An idea that someone also posted in the same thread (in response to me) was that the reward screen would have two different groups.

 

So, say you're at wave 30, there would be 2 groups of 4 rewards, and you can choose which one to have.

 

This is stuff that the community was able to come up with in a matter of minutes, and still we have the horrible 1 reward at any wave.

Q1: What are DE's current thoughts on the stamina system? There have been quite a few reworks and reinstallments of previous versions due to player feedback, but ultimately I still see the same problems I always have. Players zorencoptering and sliding every 2 steps. Clearly, this is not something for the stamina system to be proud of.

 

Q2: Prime Warframes have been established as a concern to the community, and you have begun experimenting with changes to Rhino prime, specifically his speed increase and tweak to the color of Iron skin. Will each Prime frame, both existing and future, have one stat increased as their differentiation to the normal frames? What other plans, if any, are in the works for Primes?

 

Q3: To Geoff: As always, the new melee system is a buzz topic. What new details can you share about it as you near its completion? What about the system, as a whole, are you most proud of?

 

Q4: Not too long ago, you asked the Design Council to come up with ideas for generic Warframe mods, as well as opinions on the topic as a whole. Were there any submissions that intrigued you? With player feedback on the concept, will you proceed? What are your thoughts?

 

Q5: In the last stream, many designs for Kubrows were introduced from wild, Grineer trained and finally the base idea for a Tenno version that could replace a players sentinel. Are Tenno trained Kubrows still a possibility? If so, how do you think the ideas of damage, and death will be handled with them? Will they fall like Tenno and require revival? What other ideas are in the works for the Kubrows?

 

Q6: For awhile now, there has been talk about diversifying the Corpus with female enemy types on the forum. I believe there have been a few instances of it being mentioned as something being looked at. Is there any news on this? Would it be possible to see some concepts being worked on, if any?

Okay, here are my questions :

What is the ETA on the Kubrows?
What is the ETA on the Infested returning to the starchart?
What is the ETA on the next event?
What is the ETA on the infested tileset coming out?

How much customization will we have over the Kubrows?
Will there be any new celestial bodies coming into the system the same was Phobos came?
What is the ETA for Hek's new form? We've been waiting on him for quite a while.

Any news on HUBs and the space stations?

What is the ETA on personalized Tenno ships?

Any new plans for the Dojo?

Will there be a Kubrow room in the Dojo?

 

And lastly:

[specifically for Steve]What is the ETA on dual twin Akbeard 2.0 prime?

 

I'm trying to hold back, hopefully they'll get answered. Can't wait to see Primetime Tomorrow and Devstream Friday!

Have you changed your mind regarding Valkyr and Melee 2.0?

 

Hysteria (or rather the Warframe as a whole) really needs a rework to transform her from the tank she has become, to the berserker she was supposed to be! If she is not allowed to utilize her melee weapon during Hysteria, Melee 2.0 will be the final straw that broke the camels back.

Melee 2.0?

 

We all understand that you're slogging away at Warframe, and trying your best to keep everyone happy, but it would make my day/week if I could just hold my sword like a normal person, not have it pinned to my back.

aside from all these wonderful points what is happening with ps4 migration. last dev stream you said it was in development or you'd ironed out everything and sent it off to whoever to be approved, is there anyway of knowing whats going on with it?

Question 1: Where are our specialty mods? Plenty of unconventional weapons still don't have mods to complement their uniqueness, but we're not seeing any new mods for these. Example: Torid, Embolist, Penta (STICKY GRENADES), Miter, etc.

 

Question 2: Speaking of mods, are the ability mods going to be removed at some point to make room for new mods? 

 

Question 3: What came out of the generic warframe power submission thread, any mods you are planning to do and can tip us in?
