ShirowMasamune Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Every time my sentinel attacks or uses Vacuum, The screen tints blue and it makes the " Using abiliity sound effect" Not sure if thats intentional or if its just me. But if it is not just me. is anyone else finding that it is really grating on the eyes ?
-Himari- Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 It is intentional (I'm assuming) for you to hear it everytime a skill is used by your sentinel. It does become a bit much at times when your sentinel is continuously doing something.
ShirowMasamune Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 it feels like a bad call I don't know how it is for other sentinels. But because carrier uses shotgun it does it with each and every shot. and it is actually hurting my eyes in all honesty. I do hope that it's not intentional. Or if it is they change it back
ShirowMasamune Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 i might have just figured out what's happening
ShirowMasamune Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 nope. But it does not feel intentional. as using its default weapon surly would not count as an ability
chaosking243 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 nope. But it does not feel intentional. as using its default weapon surly would not count as an ability technically, your sentinel shooting something is an ability. take dethcube, it's default mod is swift death, which is what lets it shoot things.
ShirowMasamune Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Thats a fair enough point. what do you think of the change though ?
DrunkenFirebat Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 technically, your sentinel shooting something is an ability. take dethcube, it's default mod is swift death, which is what lets it shoot things. Every sentinel has an 'attack' precept (typically, shoot the first bad guy you see). I do not like this change one bit. Not only is Carrier wracking my eyes with blueshift, that last mission it started shaking the screen and making ungodly noises like it had a chunk of ferrite stuck in the vacuum.
shut Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 This seems like a glitch. The devs should turn it into an option; this change is a living hell with Carrier, but is absolutely awesome with Shade.
