aleco247 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I just got the mod today that allows you to pick open locked lockers, but I thought, who would waste a mod slot on this. So wouldn't it be cool if lock picks could be able to be equipped in the gear slot and you use them for the locked lockers. Like the scanner, it would cost credits to refill your supply. What do you guys think? Also should there be a little lock picking mini game like in Skyrim or Thief?
Scar.Heart Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I do believe they sell Ciphers (insta-unlock on locked doors) in the market.

XenosInfinity Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Master Thief is a nice mod to have, especially in the Void. Thing is, adding a gear item with a 100% chance to open lockers would make the mod completely redundant no matter how much the gear costs. I'd agree with this if the lockpicks had a fairly high chance to break to bring them in line with the mod - either you can pay credits and save the space but risk opening less lockers, or deal with using Master Thief.
(PSN)ariaandkia Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I kind of like this but it would need to have like a minigame that you'd have to do in order to make master thief still useful. And possibly even make each locker only able to be picked once fail or success. (But have it so that you can do both master thief and picking, once each).
(PSN)LUCKY_JOEL Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I would agree simply, its a huge slap to the face if you run a void and then end up with a entire room of lockers unable to be opened... Seriously, what is the point of the void if you can't go on a treasure hunt without proper mods or gear in general.
