Sentinels

Im wondering if there is any openness to allowing the vacuum mod to be placed on any sentinel.

 

Its just so handy, and ill be honest, most of the non carrier skills are ok...at best...

 

However I think allowing the vacuum mod on any sentinel would make for better variety.  Perhaps the carrier could get a much larger radius.

 

Just some thoughts, im working on my helios right now, and its a nice utility, but tbh im not sure any of the sentinels are really worth using much vs the carrier with vacuum

 

Theres got to be a way to make this happen, I don't see it a ruining the existing sentinels, just perhaps making them all more usefull....I would certainly use my Wyrm much more, and be interested in getting them all if I was able to utilize the handy nature of vacuum....

 

Guess ive been using carrier so long, didn't realize what a total pain it is to have to jump between a wall and an open storage to loot an orb, or running past several ammo drops and not picking up any that I need, because I didn't directly stand on it...same with loot on top of stuff...

Why can't Warframe's be given a radius to grab items? Having to run DIRECTLY over ammo boxes and Mods, and, everything else... Isn't fun.

 

Why can't it be fixed, and let Carrier increase the radius, even more?

Inb4 we get a mod that increases range at which we pick up items. By 1/2/3/4/5 %, because we need more useless mods.

now Dj that is one of the biggest stretches ive seen a while...comparing useable warframe skills like loki with the rhino skills has nothing to do with a passive sentinel sucking up loot (some times doesn't always work) and doing something else that's moderately useful.

 

Its not the sacrifice...since you would still need to choose a sentinel for its other skill...if all were allowed to vacuum...so there would be trade offs...im not asking for every sentinel skill to be used at once...just the ability to not have to stand directly on loot to pick it up...especially since loot gets into places that's annoying to reach...

 

Also if they would allow vacuum to be used on all mods, easy sacrifice move would be to change its polarity, add whatever the new polarity to the carrier and then youll sacrifice drain using it...

 

its actually quite an easy thing to implement, doesn't effect balance in any way whatsoever, and improves quality of life drastically.  And we can then choose a sentinel to our liking without having to continually worry about being exactly on top of loot we need to keep going...or having to stop and climb on a stupid 1 foot tall storage container to get an orb/ammo that fell between it and a wall.

This was bought up a lot when Carrier was in the design process.  In that vacume wasnt really an ability that one sentinal should have but all sentinals.  I cant honestly see them changeing that decision now when they didnt change it back then.
