warthain
just has the name implies, its scanner ability doesnt work properly, it will consume the charge of your scanner even if the target failed to be scanned... helios will use up the charges right away when starting the scan, but if the target is killed before he finishes the job, the charge is gone and no codex entry! A solution to this would be for him to instantly scan the target and give him a cd on the ability...

DiabolusUrsus
or only equip one or the other ability. Chances are it's something else killing the target, not the sentinel. There's no reason not to let him just insta-scan things, considering you have no way of controlling which enemies he'll scan, or whether or not he'll scan enemies that you've already finished. Llyssa
How can you tell he's scanning, and what are the rules on it?(I have almost everything in the codex scanned, so I'm not expecting to figure this out for myself)
Kwinne
Oh joy... So those 11 scans he took forever to get on Kappa are probably fake... Feel bad for the guy who claimed his sentinel took 97 scans in two missions.

Vultor
Good thing scanners cost basically nothing... and are absolutely damn useless :-)
DiabolusUrsus
They should alter his ability so that you can tell him who to scan by marking them with a waypoint, and make the scan instant. Tadah. All problems solved.
blackraver
Also should only scan enemies that aren't completed on the codex

Calsius
Let me get this straight. Not only is the scanner unreliable, but it takes actual scanners to use? Thats the equivalent of having a friend follow you around and then giving him your camera to take a picture you could just take yourself.
Llyssa
Hm. Okay, have him scanning, and it seems fine so far so good. What have you done to him, specifically?

He's managed to catch them in the middle of being launched in the air, in the split second before I cut their throats, as I blow them to shrapnel... he's quite determined to scan things no matter how incredibly hard it would be to do so. Well if thats true, then I can see the use of it. I still don't understand why you have to give it your own codex scanners. It seems silly to me. StarGeezerTim
He does go through quite a number of scans, haven't actually seen if all are actually valid scans but I had it go through 100+ scans in 3 missions. Seems like a lot but scanners are dirt cheap, so I put 500 scans in my inventory and just let it do its thing.
