Mod Assignment Bug?

I've noticed what seems to be a bug with assigning mods to weapons. The situation:

 

I have a rank 3 Infected Clip on my Soma in the "C" Installed Mods tab. With my Soma using the "A" Installed Mods tab (which does NOT have the rank 3 Infected Clip), if I try to use that same Infected Clip mod on my sentinel's Deth Machine Rifle I get an error that says, "Cannot install Infected Clip because it is already installed on SOMA."

 

If I remove the Soma from my loadout, I can then install that Infected Clip onto the Deth Rifle, then put Soma (still using "A" Mods tab) back into my loadout and exit the Arsenal without a problem. If I try to use the Soma on the "C" mods tab, I get the usual error message about both Soma and Deth Rifle using the same mod.

 

I didn't notice this error before the Helios update.
