Please Remove The Duplicate Mod Restriction Concerning Sentinels.

Before Helios, this concept was bad, and forced people to basically only use the Sweeper or Deth Machine gun, depending on their primary weapon. Now? You're actively dissuaded from using Helios' own trademark weapon, because it interferes with your melee mods. It is flat-out annoying, and only exists to increase grind.

This restriction comes from a simple logic; you can't use the same mod for two different equipped weapons at the same time, and it's actually fine. But currently this system also restrict to the weapon you DON'T currently equipped with, and that what makes it annoying.

im currently doing the research and do not have it yet.. however, from what i read the mods needed would be the same as glaive mods for the most part. if your not using a glaive how many over lapping mods are you really going to have 5?. plus those mods are not like serrations, heavy cal, hornet strikes. they are 5 bar mods. no big deal

Not exactly though. You could also modded it like you mod a charge melee build. Besides, Glaive's mods were utility oriented (+Punch Through, +Bounce, -Bounce, and +Flight Speed) so it's not really important, unless you wanted to completely use Helios to kill all the enemies singlehandedly.

You only have a single copy of every melee mod and your only melee weapon is a Glaive, on which you're using your only copy of the thrown-melee-specific mods?

 

It's more of a problem for Deth machine rifle and Stinger than it is for Deconstructor. Finding copies of Stormbringer for elemental builds is painful - finding Focus Energy is a matter of persevering with Nightmare missions.
