DE should implement a market browser where players can put up sell and buy orders or trade contracts for all to see.

 

Reason:

This is to eliminate the prolonged staring at the trade channel ticking past, and people generally not having to spend a lot of time to acquire or get rid of rare or unwanted items respectively. This might also cut back on the sense of grinding that people seem to quickly have with this game (as you can choose to get it in the market), while putting more emphasis on the actual gameplay (as you spend less time doing possibly boring things, such as starting at a trade channel or grinding a certain mission for a certain part).

 

Implementation:

The amount of trade orders a player can put up can be the same as now. The only thing that should be established is how long a trade order can remain, if that length should be adjustible and if that should cost credits/platinum or be free of charge.

 

 

I for one am tired to see all these wildly differing prices in trade and having to PM people all the time to ask what they offer for the trade i want to make with them. Please excuse if this is a feature that has already been discussed elsewhere, it's just that I hadn't seen it being discussed anywhere. I'm actually quite sure some devs are thinking about this so the above is simply my 2 cents on the topic.

This would be a good question for the next live-stream (aka can/will you add. . .). I quite like the idea of a player trade market for this game.

There seem to be quite a few players (me amongst them) who like the EVE: Online UI of the market.

You basically put up buy and sell orders at prices you like and you pay a small percentage to set up the order. You can also set up contracts to buy and sell batches of items, which can be handy if you're looking for sets of items such as a prime weapon BP including all the parts needed to build it.
