Harvester Hunt Help

I'm quite desperate,

after the update that Harvester drops Detron,

I went and did 5 invasion missions siding with the Grineer

then i got the deathmark

 

IMMEDIATELY after that i went to Kappa (to lv my weapons up)

then i met Harvester (he taunts me)

happy, getting my first bp and receiver

i went and did the invasions again, got the 2nd deathmark

and entered Kappa

i met him two more times there (but from other players)

but all i got was more bps and receivers

 

i've been hunting him and playing corpus missions since then (since that update, dont' remember which) 

but I have never met him again (not to mention will he EVER drop me a barrel......?)

 

what has gone wrong? i farm for him everyday with full team with players with deathmarks

we often do Kappa, Palus and especially Xini (because it's the fastest)

 

ANY more tips?

I really don't get how unlucky I can be

it's been months, he never appeared again, ever

(now then, when he DOES appear, will he give me a 4th receiver...??)

 

anyone got a good hunting map, good hunting method that WORKS?

I'm quite frustrated

wiki said 3.5% with full team?

I mean like huh.. he appeared to me (after that update) three times in a row, throwing only recievers to me

and now he just never EVER appears in front of me again o_O

(I even met the Stalker like more often from him, every now and then)

Oh please, I get tons of G3 spawns when I'm leveling my gear. Then I get a bolt on my leg.

Just after update 12, I killed all Corpus Bosses, and then participated in 5 Corpus Missions on Saturn (siding with Grineer).I received the email from Alad V (thus getting the deathmark), soon afterward I met the Harvester, and defeated it. I'd say this all happened within a day or two after the update. Since then I cannot do anything to get the darn thing to come after me again. I have now participated in over 60 Corpus Missions. In fact that's all I do now, I do only Corpus Missions, at first it was to get the Oxium, but after completing the Oxium Espionage (less than 12 hours after update), I have done nothing but Corpus missions. I've been targeted twice by the Stalker, since, but cannot get the darn Harvester to come. I have the BP for the Detron, and the receiver, I need the barrel, and just cannot understand why it has to be so goldarn rare. It almost makes me wanna quit playing the game, because I get so frustrated and disappointed trying. 

 

The same thing applies to the Void missions too, I have been trying to get the Braton Prime, the Fang Prime (I especially have tried to get this most),and the Reaper Prime for MONTHS. Doing the missions designated for these items to drop. Darn it, I cannot catch a break, I have gone thru a multitude of void keys, and have spent an undetermined amount of money for Platinum, and cannot get these items. Why? Why the hell must DE make the chances to get these items SO damned rare. It's ridiculous.  I keep getting the SAME things time and time again. I keep getting items that I already have. Honestly it makes me want to quit playing the game, it really does. But I'm some how drawn to keep playing. That is until I am just fed up to much and finally quit.

Uhm, actually, I'm playing the PS4 version of the game, and we STILL cannot trade anything except the antitoxins from the Cicero Crisis. We've been told over and over that we can put I've tried, and still cannot. Thanks tho, for reminding me, of another reason, I wanna quit playing.

This is SO crazy, this is actually like the second time I've ever visited this forum, and the one time I complained about the rate of the drops, I got what I've been trying to get since the game first loaded on my PS4, (like the day after the console was released), the Fang Prime, I FINALLY got in three attempts. I had one blade already (don't remember when I got it but had it for some time), and one the 1st attempt doing T2 Defense, I got another blade. The second attempt got one handle, and the last attempt got the handle AGAIN! So I finally have my Fang Prime.  Wow! Maybe my luck is changing, at least I've got something to keep me playing, until I get them to level 30. I still have to get the Braton Prime, and the Reaper Prime. So I'm off now to try those too. Unfortunately after doing the Operation Mission on Sedna, a Corpus Invasion, over 35 times, I still haven't got the email from Alad V, about the Harvester.. and dammit it's trying my patience as usual. What do I have to do????  Wikia, and this site, states that all I have to do is a Corpus mission 5 times, well??? Damn I'm tired of waiting.

Yeah that's my question too... I have a friend that got the email, met the Harvester and got the ENTIRE Detron in one drop. Which boils my blood even more.

As for transferring the account to the PC, they won't do it, haven't done it, and don't care to do that!  It's a MONEY thing with DE. After all.. why do they increase the cost of Platinum (per bar I mean)  when you buy more? Do the math, or Arithmetic. Divide the cost of $4.99 by 75, to get the cost of each piece. Then do the same thing with the rest of the offers. You'll see that the cost of a piece of Plat goes UP rather than down (which is the NORM for bundle deals). Retailers want you to buy in bulk, but they'll lower the cost of item, when you do.. not increase it. Otherwise ppl wouldn't buy. Most of the players of WF don't bother to do the math.

but hrm, that really isn't fair, all parts in one drop, i'll be raging too (just hearing it makes my temper rises up)

and you got no mail? i think it's defenitely a bug or something wrong with the game

but oh well, it's still in "beta", kinda expecting these :/

 

but yes, i do have many and numerous rages like these which is why i don't frequently play WF anymore, only on big big BIG updates and important events only

just take my time to do something else right now

I cannot believe my mind!!? After several hours, days, ...WEEKS! Trying I FINALLY got the Harvester to attack me, the DE Gods are watching over me... it has to be DE intervention!?!  3 hours after my initial message, the Harvester came. I did nothing different that I had been doing before. As I said, I participated in 5 operation missions against the Corpus, and then went to do a regular defense mission (again also against the Corpus), and no sooner than a couple minutes of starting the mission, the Harvester came for me. I killed it, using Excalibur, and the Orthos Prime. Unfortunately, it dropped the item I already had. This is all on the same day that I wrote my message here in this forum. So after that mission, I did it again, 5, actually lost count, 6 operation missions on Saturn against the Corpus, and then a defense mission on Venus (specifically Kiliken) and boom, I got the Harvester come after me AGAIN... unfortunately, the *********** who hosted decided to quit by dropping his connection, sending us into the HATED "Host Migration in Progress" and when we got back after 2 minutes, the Harvester was no where. Dammit I shouted. So next day, very early in the morning, I did 5 operation missions, against the Corpus, and nothing. Again I tried, nothing. Came back here and wrote a reply, and boom, get back tried again, lo can I get a "what what?" I killed the Harvester, within an hour of my reply. Funny thing is, I never got the email from Alad V, until AFTER the last time I killed him. Oh, and bingo, I got the piece I needed to get my Detron. Sweet hand-cannon! So thanks DE, if you had a hand in my luck changing thanks.. if not.. Thanks anyway.
