Moa Melee Range

I play as a Loki a lot, but as of late whenever I fight the Corpus and Radial Disarm them I notice something pretty strange.

As you are aware the MOAs switch to the kung-fu kick mode in melee mode but their range perception seems to be pretty...off. I've had MOAs try and kick me from ranges that do not qualify as MOA melee range even without me moving.

I'm just wondering if this is normal or just a range perception issue on their part, they do hurt if I get close enough yes but most times when they approach they just pre-maturely kick the air like one of those movies when they show off their moves and then just get 1 hit KO'd.   XD   (Which does happen since I have a fully developed Paris Prime)

I haven't done this enough myself, but my uneducated guess is that they may be operating off of their gun range when they choose to kick at you.
