Helios's Deconstructor Weapon

I'm having an issue where when I apply my Pressure Point and or Spoiled Strike Mods to the sentinel's deconstructor weapon, my stats are unchanged. Applying elemental mods seem to be fine but not so for normal damage boosting melee mods.

Bug, correct?

Assumed to be. DE has yet to state whether or not it is. But I strongly believe it is NOT a design decision (as it makes the weapon useless past Mercury).

No melee/charge damage mods work on it, only +Impact% (which doesn't in turn boost the elemental damage when you put those on as well) and elemental.

Noted. We'll wait and see what comes of this then.

It may be a case that the stats are shown wrong but it still does the damage it is meant to.

Ahh, good point. Could be a UI bug...

doubtful. Even with both the normal damage and the nightmare mod of either melee / charge, the damage done to the mobs doesn't seem to change, at all (ingame that is)

Tested against Corpus Crewmen and MOA on Venus, without any of the mods, it takes 2-3 hits to kill them. With two of each (for about 225% extra damage) it still takes 2-3 hits to kill.

Now remove all "base damage" mods from it, and equip a 60% bonus electric damage mod, and it suddenly takes 1-2 hits to kill a Corpus.

Considering the base damage is IMPACT, which is very effective against Corpus, this seems more than strange.

Well its safe to say that it's weapon isn't ranking up further than Rank 6.

mine's rank 14 atm - which takes a while to get to. I recommend giving it Power Throw (Unranked is enough) so it can hit several guys without requiring bounces. Run with it through Apollodorus and make sure it doesn't get destroyed (as that seemed to negate it getting any XP for me after a 25-minute survival run)

Well, I actually tried that before seeing this... to no avail. I hope DE's staff are seeing all this. I just wasted an entire 40mins keeping this sentinel alive and to get to 0 exp when extracted from my mission. That's unacceptable. A lot of people love this sentinel so far, hope they fix this senti and it's weap.

I haven't had any issues leveling it (it's currently lvl 8 with weapon lvl 12), but pressure point and spoiled strike don't work.

Hope those mods get sorted, this sentinel is rather interesting! xD

Edit: Maxed the weapon without an issue.
