(PSN)D3ACON18
I was hoping for some end game builds and play style. I just picked him because he looks cool. Any help would be appreciated. Than in advance.

Naftal
I use him only for Desecrate. Energy Siphon Fleeting Expertise Streamline Stretch Overextended Natural Talent Vitality Vigor Rage Equilibrium
gianutn
I use Nekros just to farm materials/drops. So, I put Stretch, Rage, Equilibrium, Natural Talent. and remove Redirection.
OldGodKing
Well, he is just a loot mule in general. Meaning that all you really need to do with Nekros is spam 3.
(PSN)D3ACON18
Is his shadows of the dead not good for higher levels? Or Soul Punch?
OldGodKing
Is his shadows of the dead not good for higher levels? Or Soul Punch? At higher levels, the damage from skills are no longer sufficient. Only your weapons will carry you through missions. Therefore, Soul Punch will only work as a single-target CC. Mostly using it on heavies to knock them down while you clear out the filler mobs. But it is highly situational and not really recommended. Shadows of the Dead can be useful but again, they won't last long unless they're really strong targets. They're distracting and not really worth it UNLESS you plan on making a build that focuses only on SotD. Get something like a Soma or some sort of high powered single target weapon like a sniper rifle and focus on taking down heavies so that you can summon them with SotD. Nekros is a support frame after all so you should do what's best to use as a support. But generally, most people just want Nekros in missions like Survivals and Defense for the Desecrate spam with the occasional Terrify for a good CC. But Terrify does cause your targets to run away which may or may not be a good thing, depending on the situation. Nekros is just an underwhelming frame to be honest. But if you can look past that, I'm sure you'll be having one hell of a time with him. Edited March 20, 2014 by AxialBlue
