Vargras
I feel as if players just weren't given enough information in regards to the Helios, and many of us are basically just guessing in regards to how it even works. We know it scans enemies. We know it's a melee sentinel. That's pretty much it. In regards to Investigator: -How does it scan? Is it random, or is there a method to it? Why does it seem to scan EVERYTHING (barrels, panels, lockers) and not just enemies? -Why is the Helios scan time longer than the player scan time? 5 seconds versus 2 seconds is a very big difference during combat. In regards to Deconstructor: -Is the attack considered to be charge or non-charge? We know it uses Glaive mods, but many players tend to use charge damage mods on Glaive weapons, as the non-charge damage has always been too low to be viable. (PSN)MyTagForHalo
i think it would be fine if it scanned everything and anything, as long as it stops doing so when the codex entry for that item is filled. If it has a longer scan time, is it able to keep a lock even the target is moving?
chaosking243
From what I've heard, it's scan time is too long for it to be really effective. Heard people say it kills it's targets before it can finish scanning them

Sabreracer
In regards to Investigator I did 5 invasion runs and a 30 Wave ODD last night and I still have no enemies scanned.

It scans randomly something that's in range. It may be an object or enemy. It won't ever scan those rare mobs during a fight unless they change the scan instant and give it some prioritizing what to scan. It uses charge damage mods, arsenal UI doesn't show charge damage though so you don't see it chance with them.
H0PE
by the time we finish with dojo research they will _hopefully_ fix it up properly (all the above concerns are hurtingly valid).
RawGritz
Is it's only weapon the melee thingy? Seems that could be wildly inefficient against mobs. Shade has ghost, revenge and a gun. The descriptions sounds like Helios has a melee weapon and Investigator. I thought the melee thing would be a power like Vaporize so you could still use the sentinel guns. So what other offensive capabilities does it have? If none, I think it would be a great low level beginner sentinel. But to put it behind a Dojo-gate... I would hope it is fully worth the effort and resources. Edited March 20, 2014 by RawGritz

I feel it's far too under-powered to be a clan item. Investigative ability and a single shot glaive weapon?!?!? doesn't sound ideal for quickly dispatching enemies. Vargras
Yup I figured that. I feel it's far too under-powered to be a clan item. Investigative ability and a single shot glaive weapon?!?!? doesn't sound ideal for quickly dispatching enemies. Like the Glaive weapons, the Helios weapon bounces around and eventually returns. It has the potential to be a strong single-target weapon, but I doubt it'll ever surpass the Sweeper.
