Deidaku
Should there be clantech/or not clantech craftable mods? With a tech tree and all that stuff? Ex: you create the status effect mod branch and developed the fire damage rifle mods. at the top of the tree ( after some other perks ) you get a rare mod that combines various effects like the event mods but it would take time to get to the top and a lot of various ressources , ' not 1000 oxmium for instance :p) other ex : Custom warframe skills : >Custom slash dash : Can deal *insert elemental damage mod * damage on critical hits > Custom Shock : combined with poison = chance to deal corrosive damage > Custom soul punch ; has a small chance to steal a small amount hp > Chaos : has a very small chance of putting all the enemies affected by the skill in a headache state for a longer period of time ( 1 or 2 sec more ) And so on in my opinion this could be a good idea to increase the game's longevity ( aka trading becomes more than just max serration, max blind rage , Max this max that bla bla bla) . It would add more variety And could create more unique weapon and warframe builds .> better way for newbies who managed to find a clan to get mods to help them get past earth and other difficult moments in the game without relying on RNG. + it would be better to invest into crafting than the current transmutation system which is too inefficient and costly . The only issue with this would be to balance those mods with the ones already in place, it's feasible imo but I want to know what you guys think :) I haven't thought this through much XD Comment below fellow tenno! DaftMeat
More dual mods like Vigor. I want a mod that increases run speed and stamina, just not as well as the pure mods do.
Regar
In the future of warframe we will need more double mods, or more mod slots ... that's the only thing that i can say about the future
Methanoid
agreed, being able to research/build your own dual stat mods by donating lots of both mods you wish to merge and some other token items would be nice. ofc make them weaker versions of nightmare mods, and have it so you cant just add all the good stuff u want, only certain things being able to merge with others, ie: matching or differing polaritys, never merge something that affects the same stat or something directly related. etc etc
ZephyrPhantom
I think being able to create some weaker dual stat mods sounds like a great idea - the concept of tinkering with the damage type a Warframe ability deals also sounds very useful as it would allow frames more flexibility and open up the possibility of more varied builds. Longhorns
Only if it is aimed towards end game and extremely difficult to craft. I'm not talking about a simple time wall. Requires Formas, 100's of the same mod (or only maxed versions of the mod), and a % chance to fail. Otherwise, what would stop anyone from making every mod in their primary weapon have a % damage increase?

Not 100s of the same mods, I don't want to go osprey hunting -_- , how about some of mods ( not more than 50) of the same polarity and rarity as a ressource

PookieNumnums
Yes and no. Fusión should be used to create multi stat Mods
DJ_Redwire
Perhaps, but I could easily see a system like this getting out of hand very quickly. Would also require heavy, heavy balancing - which may prove to be less than desirable.

If the mods are tradable : big clans complete the tree and floof the trade chat with cheaper more advanced mods. people will have a hard time selling individually If not tradable : clans will want to absorb as many players as possible to collect ressources ( this has already happened for other reasons -_-)
Rakosta_Kai
I like the bones of the idea, but would rather not see it be for specific Warframe abilities. It would become a nightmare to balance that way. I could see Volt becoming much more flexible, but Nova or Nyx becoming OP with even small tweaks to their skills. Something generic like: Modifies Warframe abilities with a XX% elemental properties or +Rush and +Maglev. Modifying specific skills is just fodder for complaint. Lastly, something like this needs to have specific formulae that can be duplicated by other clans. This way the results will vary and can be shared. First clan to discover a combo could get their notification of doing so and their name in the mod description. Discovered by: Clan Wait...What? +1 to the idea as it brings something for the clan to develop together

I was wondering about some frame abilities problems it might cause as well : something like M prime with even more damage or range would be just silly X)

Phatose
Dual stat mods already have a home - nightmare mode. We should be fully fleshing that mode out - dividing reward pools between mission and/or faction - long before we start putting nightmare appropriate mods in any other places. 2ply
+1 I like the idea, adding more things to the clan tech stuff is always welcome in my book. This could serve as an interesting addition. With all new changes it would have to go through tons of balance checks but I can see it as being a cool thing to add. Great post!
