Kuestenjung
Almost every Oberon I saw in the last games wasn´t able to use the healing ability. They are only using the reckoning ability. I mea, come on, he is a paladin, so his job is to deal damage and heal allies.
HellEnforcer
Liar. Oberon's job is to save Bambi and be the king of the forest. ... Or something similar...
marbatico
i try to, but it's healing capabilities aren't worth it at higher levels, better to use the energie for reckoning

Genoscythe
I actually heal people a lot. But I dont play with randoms because in 99% of all cases they play like mindless noobs that dont know how to Warframe. Sorry to be so harsh but after almost a year of playing people do not seem to have become wiser. If you want people to do it right do it yourself or get friends and clannies to play with you. Dochi.
I always try to but every time I bring my Oberon either: 1) Everyone in the squad is a Rhino 2) There's already a Trinity in the squad
Imaru
I try to heal my allies, but I usually use Reckoning because of the damage it does and the health orbs.

(PSN)natek_morzy
I hate Oberon for that reason. Every time I see one in a public game I am pretty sure s/he is going to spam Reckoning whenever the game presents, what, more than 5 @(*()$ enemies? It flat out &!$$es me off when I'm trying to level things or just have fun with my fabulous Phage. Renewal: I love Valkyr. Renewal is great, it gives me health, I @(*()$ love it. but no one uses it. It's not very powerful and sure as hell is not useful at end-game. Everyone knows Trinity is end-game. Kuestenjung
His healing is worthless. End of story. Sorry but that´s just stupid. It could get me the time to get away , and if you are under the healing effect when you go down it revives you.
nefrai
exp is shared with all teammembers, you're not missing out on any But if they are killing with Warframe powers, doesn't the XP only go to Frame leveling? You have to kill with guns to get gun XP to other players right? Or did they change that?

-.DawnofNSSD.-
exp is shared with all teammembers, you're not missing out on any well... yes but what if you have maxed secondary, melee, and frame and only want EXP for your primary? the shared exp gets wasted on your maxed stuff :/ Sorry but that´s just stupid. It could get me the time to get away , and if you are under the healing effect when you go down it revives you. it don't do dat no mo. :S
(PSN)natek_morzy
exp is shared with all teammembers, you're not missing out on any Yes, I will miss out on more experience for my Phage if s/he uses reckoning as opposed to me getting the kills with my Phage. And that's not even what I was worried about. Flashing Reckoning here and there like every other Oberon does is not much fun in my opinion. Cyberdown
perhaps if the healing had trinities range...and continued to heal until their HP was full...it would be used a lot more. TBH, like people said...id rather oberon just use his slam skill and pop a bunch of energy and health orbs IMO they could easly move his heal to the ultimate position and do one of two things to it...have it be a heal that continually heals for 45-60 seconds with no range restrictions...like trinity, but not instant, and with no god mode....OR...have players in range receive no damage while the heal is ticking. Right now...its a decent lowbie skill, kind of...and 100% useless at medium-higher levels. In fact oberon is all around a forgettable frame..that slam skill is ok...but his #1 and #2 are beyond useless, his ultimate doesn't work well at higher levels, and even medium level mobs, and everything else aside from his looks are just too...forgettable This frame really needs a rework, its got the potential to be a great frame, but I see no reason to use it after getting it to 30....none Edited March 20, 2014 by Cyberdown
Kickboxing_Banana
I have Renewal equipped and I try to use it as best as I can. Sometimes people who don't have Vitality on their frames simply die too fast so the energy spheres can't reach them in time.
(PSN)DanteVincent
I heal a lot too, but that's mainly because I'm usually the one that needs it the most lol, for a paladin oberon is very squishy, we already have a squishy and much better healer called trinity, oberon should have insane defese, on par with valyr, so his somewhat slow healing would make sense on him. As it stands now, you take way more damage than you're able to heal, and probably, so do your team mates, it's mostly a between waves thing, can't rely on it in the heat of the battle. I don't want to derail your thread but oberon needs way more health/armor, he won't be able to heal if he can't even keep himself alive, then we go back to reckoning spam, sadly, the only viable build for him. HellEnforcer
But if they are killing with Warframe powers, doesn't the XP only go to Frame leveling? You have to kill with guns to get gun XP to other players right? Or did they change that? No. An ally that kills an enemy, it does not matter with what, the teammates that get the shared exp will get a distribution of 25% for WarFrame, primary, seconday and melee. It has been like that for quite a while now. It is also the best way I know to rank up a sentinel.
R34LM
Reckoning essentially does heal teammates, as it drops health orbs after killing enemies. Use it with effinciency and range mods and you can end up with a lot of health on the field. I still keep his third ability, just in case.
