123Olympian
This should go in here, as Sentinels are similar to warframes, and we don't have any area for sentinels, that should be in notice. Anyways, I have been hearing that the new sentinel keeps scanning containers or control modules. This can be an absolute turnoff really, and I plan to not buy it now due to that reason alone. Now, sentinels don't have numerous mods, most are rather generic and boring with ability. Anyways, why don''t we have mods to scan, or not scan specific factions, faction classes(made by feature), and even objects? As the rank goes up, the range of scan, and scan speed increases. LoopStricken
Supposedly it doesn't consume codex scans when it scans things you've already completed.
Scitimar
Supposedly it doesn't consume codex scans when it scans things you've already completed. To be honest I barely use the Codex Scanner, because when there is a monster with a minigun shooting at me I'm not going to sit there and take mug shots at it xD I rather let the drone take mug shots of what's shooting me while I shoot them back lol. So supplying it with Codex scanners should be a way to make it useful that is until you complete all sets in the codex for everything
DalaiLlama
Ameliorate* Mind spelling when trying to use more sophisticated diction. Helios as a whole needs a rework, but bandaid mods are not the way to go about it. Hell, I can't imagine bandaid mods being a long-term fix to anything. Its scan speed is so slow as it is that unless playing solo and using some sort of invincibility/increased integrity effect, scanning retaliating enemies is out of the question. We do not need additional mods to fix this; if anything, the speed would increase by rank of the sentinel itself and the actual "investigator" scanning precept. Personally, the fact that it uses codex scanners defeats part of the purpose of the sentinel, being the automatic hands off scanner that, as it is now, requires the same ammunition that would otherwise be used if we scanned manually. But that's not as large of a problem as the weak damage, long delay time, modding bugs, or the slow scanning speed.
MalikDama
I would rather the precept speed up the time of your scanning and scanner swapping than for it to do the actual scanning
