How Many Forma Needed + My Builds

So was trying to decide what to forma next, by comparing my current forma with the amount I need.

 

Edit: Trying to keep the # needed as low as possible. For example a build might use R4 Flow instead of R5 rather than add a Forma.

 

This is my list of needed forma. If you have a good build that uses more, please let me know. (Aura) indicates an Aura change, always to Tactic. CP->ES when not vs. Grineer/Void.

The amount of Forma needed depends on what you're putting into those frames. Your 38 isn't a concrete number.

I've used 4 forma for each Nekros, Loki and Excalibur Prime to fit my builds. Excal Prime needs more too.

 

This is because I use only 1 or 2 abilities on these frames. Also Excal Prime has two V when I only use one.

Personally I put more than 2 on Banshee for more max mods

 

Excal prime needs more than 2 to get a serious turn off combat, make the game pointless SO broken and why why did nobody at DE playtest blind build.

Saryn need more than 2 if you want to add a defensive mod along with a max miasma end the world build

 

Nekros doesn't need any forma to Mash 3, with a pretty basic build

 

Frost prime needs at least 3 if you want to do anything more than push 3.

 

Loki can use more than the 1 forma but hardly needs it, and is kinda made pointless by excal blind builds.

 

4 forma on nova gives you options

yeah adding that did seem to kill the thread, a bit. My point kinda was that those were the most expensive point wise builds I could see myself using, as opposed to the most expensive possible or most effective... cause frames have multiple builds and didnt want to make all of them... gah, w/e, exhausted. :(

this is really a player choice thing..

 

 

I personally Hate your builds, no Flow, no Energy siphon.

you can loose a forma off some of your builds with no negative effects.

 

Nekros has one purpose, spam desecrate, your build only has -60% cost, in the long run this will cost more energy

It depends what abilities you want to use. I don't have any warframe that equips all 4 abilities. At least one gets forma'd off.

The other forma support the main abilities you will use. I forma'd off almost everything from Excalibur because blind is his only true useful ability

But note my max is max usable with no stupid amount of negative range or energy.

 

+ there are A b c profiles, you cant make everyting effective all the time.

38 for all of them.. it's very small amount.
