Jazok
The lack of ability to name and save my loadout's is something that has been/is steadily driving me insane. I don't think I'm the only one either. While I love that I can have three different builds for each weapon/frame it can get a little confusing when I have 16-17 "A" builds; one for each gun/frame. Then a similar number of "B's" and "C's." The player community here is very diverse and if one browses the forums for a little bit they will find many many different builds for the same weapon/frame. This is great. However, I can only do three (Loadout A, B, C) at a time and I have to navigate the clunky (a little) mod selection UI to change them every single time. Not to mention, what if I forma a weapon, and then forma it again, or even again, etc... Now, in the course of my playing I like to do everything from time to time. These things include (and these are things I might want different builds for): Low Level Grineer Survival High Level Grineer Survival Low Level Corpus Survival High Level Corpus Survival Infested T3 Survival T1 Survival T3 Defense T1 Defense ODD Corpus Defense Grineer Defense Critical Build Blast Radius Build Rushing Build Power Range Build Power Strength Build Survivability Power Duration Build etc... Some people might suggest that you use different weapons for some of the different builds to which I agree that that solves some of the problems. The following are some suggested changes (and I have seen others suggest this on the forums) Changes 1. Give us the ability to name our loadouts 2. Give us the ability to have more than 3 loadouts 3. Let us use the same loadout on different weapons (e.g. there might be 3 guns that I like to use a crit build on) #3 presents the largest problem I believe. However, now that we have the ability to move polarities around, the DE could create a script that would place mod's from a saved loadout onto any gun. It would place them from top left to bottom right and keep placing mods from the saved loadout until reaches max mod slots. Every time I forma a weapon, or level one up I'm tearing my hair out swapping back and forth between the damage 2.0 page on the wiki and the Warframe UI
HAYABU5A
i suggested we have saveable themes a simple UI that saves all your selections for any given warframe/primary/secondary/melee/sentinel including their appearance, mods/loadouts which of course you can name and even have a short description then you could quickly flick thru all your saved themes and change everything on the fly to suit whatever situation or mood you find yourself in
Jazok
I've seen multiple people suggest something similar. Even what your suggesting would be great.

And agreed with 1 and 2 on the OP, I'm iffy on 3 because of the difficulty of implementing it (?). But I would very much like to have more than 3 loadouts. ZaraaK
I am throwing in my vote. I would love to be able to save load outs and name them. We could pick them via a little drop down menu or something.
liavalenth
I will up vote but not expect this until, at the very earliest, Update 15. It took them a long time to get the loadouts we have now, something like this will take a lot of time. I would bet they are already working on this, with how much it is suggested. Would be nice to know for sure though.

MeduSalem
I'm also in for such features... We definitely need to be able to name the builds to easier remember what a certain loadout does. It's quite a mess with more than 130 weapons around to remember everything you did a few months ago. Normally I use A for Infested, B for Grineer and C for Corpus... But not all builds are the same for each weapon. Sometimes there's a Proc build, sometimes there's a crit.build and sometimes it's something unique altogether. The most important thing I want is a fast-switch feature in the Arsenal so I'm able to see which Loadout (A/B/C) is currently active on the Weapon/Warframe and a way to switch to another without directly going into the mod-loadout screen. It's inconvenient to go inside the mod-loadout and it's also laggy if you've a lot of duplicate mods to be listed. Another similar feature we probably need is the possibility to save setups so if you're for example using Frost, Grinlok, Despair, Dual Ethers a lot then you can save that as a setup and automatically switch to that. I understand that the current thought on the UI is that the Devs don't want to overload the screen with too many features and stuff because it's already confusing for new players... But they should at least consider some stuff for convenience purposes. I have too many friends not using the load-out tabs because of how they don't feel like going into the mod-loadout screen every time they go against a different faction. They sacrifice damage effiency because the menu is a mess. Edited March 27, 2014 by MeduSalem
Fraank
+1, definitely (i want it now) A,B,C per weapon isnt enough to cover every enemy type. Corpus, Grineer, Infested AND Corrupted!=> So we need at least 4 builds. or a 5th build if someone plays PvP. better as much builds as i need. Equip weapon=> upgrade weapon => choose between "new weapon setup" or "load weapon setup" => go. I dont know what A,B or C was, I dont even know if i used A,B,C for weapon XY. Gwenwed
Greetings Tenno, I've been thinking about this for quite a while and today I decided it was time to say it aloud! ...then I saw this post. Revamping/adding loadouts might take some time I understand. But maybe renaming the A-B-C letters could be implemented quickly? Even if it's limited to 5 letters or something it would be great! A- Grins B- Bugs C- Corps Cheers!
Estelein
This is good stuff. I would also love it if when I set up a particular warframe with a weapon/sentinel loadout, the game remembers it so I don't have to change my entire loadout when switching warframes. I.e.: when I set up my Banshee with my Paris Prime, Despair, Glaive, and Shade for stealth play, and I do a match with my Valkyr equipped with Penta, Lex, Jat Kittag, and Death Cube, I would love to be able to switch back to my Banshee and have its last loadout (Paris Prime, Despair, Glaive, and Shade) remembered instead of having the Valkyr loadout automatically dumped on the Banshee.
